It’s definitely greener for him. It’s way better to make the playoffs than being part of a 20 win team.

Did he take the curse with him?
Pipelayer_290
He didn’t just leave Portland.. he publicly forced his way out to one team in the most selfish way possible. I’ll always have love for what he did here, but Blazer fans are quick to forget how fucked that situation was for us.
tcs_hearts
Love to see him get a ring, back in Portland at the end of his career
pythonwarg
He doesn’t deserve a ring until he wins one. That’s how championships work.

They still got hella time lol. Next season will be so much better because of an off-season of chemistry building

This year was bad luck- but realistically every finals run involves a lot of good injury luck, and he knows that.
The window hasn’t closed, the Bucks starting 5 are probably the best team Dame has every played on (though 2014 and 2019 blazers were damn good). They will still be contenders if they run it back next year, I think everyone just has to know this Bucks team is aging and doesn’t have the depth to hang on if they get hurt.
That all said, he’s the best player to wear the black and red and ring or not we all know how good he was
SNPDX
No one deserves a ring until you win a ring. He asked out in order to ring chase like all the other players that he criticized up to that point and it didn’t work out the way he wanted. Don’t waste your time feeling bad for him.
Damezang
Sucks that he and Giannis were injured. Healthy, they might have had a chance. Not happy the way he left, but hard not to still want him to thrive. Always love for Dame. Maybe we’ll face them in the finals next year?
Nerdkill789
Why are we acting like Cronin didn’t promise him a competitive team and back out when he landed the 3rd pick and selected his replacement?
What is he supposed to do wait around for them to develop into NBA players and try to compete when he’s like 40?
Before people say anything about Miami, Cronin absolutely could have traded the 3rd pick and future picks for Siakam a la Pacers and put a competitive team around Dame.
If Dame ever returns to PDX to retire, Cronin will be fired lol
Voidrunner503
Welp, I guess Blazers fans won’t get to have nice things whatsoever this season. We obviously sucked, and on the other hand Dame’s Bucks were dysfunctional all season before getting bitten by the injury bug and flaming out in the first round.

As soon as they hired Doc i knew it was over. Also tore me up cause i CANNOT root for Rivers…
Rhuarc33
Should have sat for the game he wasn’t near full Dame level. I think Beasley starting would have given the Bucks a better chance

Lmao 🤷♂️

Listening to his postgame interview, he talks about it being a hard year listing one of the reasons as getting traded late in the summer. Man, if he would of just had a list he would of been gone way sooner. Part of me wants to see him win a ring and another part of me just hopes he doesn’t and I don’t wanna hear it from any bucks fans or anybody else talking about we owed this or that to him. Dude got paid, we don’t play gm, blame Olshey for that shit. Don’t talk loyalty with years left on an extension, Don’t talk loyalty when you go off and cheat on your wife a trillion times. Taking this year off and being away from watching as closely as I have all these years, makes you realize this shit is jokes. Fandom is funny

That sucks?

Meh. Honestly, not concerned at all about Dame winning a chip.
Go do it… Or don’t. It’s not like it’s an easy thing. Even with Dame and Giannis they didn’t look like world beaters, most of the season.
