Michael Malone on the Round 2 NBA Playoff matchup between the Denver Nuggets and Minnesota Timberwolves. Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray and the Nugs will host Rudy Gobert, Anthony Edwards and the Wolves on Saturday at Ball Arena In Denver.

    The nuggets play better when there’s more on the line. They we were relaxed for the the lakers series because they knew they couldn’t lose. Watch how they turn all the way up for the wolves.

    No we won by 11 points in game 1 not over the five games 11 points in game 1 and then we won by 2 points and then we won by another seven and then we won by two we won by 22 points between five games

    The Twolves were built with one goal in mind to dismantle the Denver Nuggets. Malone did not mention it, but the guy who built Denver was Tim Connelly. Connely is also the one who built the final pieces of the Twolves team. I'm sorry but this is the end of the Nuggets. Your window has officially closed with both the Twolves and OKC who are younger and way better teams. Unlike last year, with no Naz Reid and McDaniels, this year the Twolves are in full health so BIG trouble. The Twolves clearly have the best bench, depth and DEFENSE. Denver will be done in 6 games, Twolves win 4 -2.

    honestly the only way for us to lose at all is the injury getting worse. Otherwise we could totally win in 7, maybe even 5 if we are lucky.

    Nuggets intentionally played bad vs the Lakers since they were bored of playing them. Nuggets actually respect the Twolves as an opponent unlike the Lakers, so they will play better
