  1. Jalen shot below 30% from three in three of the four months after the new year, including the last. He shot above 40% in March and for that brief moment, it unlocked *everything* for himself and the team.

If he does nothing else this summer, he must become a 37% three-point shooter. For all his other talents, 2025 has to be the year of Jalen Green: Three-point threat.

Learn to be consistent and play off ball. He doesnโ€™t need to handle the ball all the time.

  3. You say he had a bad December and February.

His January numbers are: 20/6/4 on 55 TS, 30% from 3. Thats a bad month as well.

You say he can shoot it from 3, mid range, and at the rim, for all combo guards (Beal, Ant, Herro), here is where he ranks.

Rim, 62% FG%, in the middle.

    Short mid, 32% FG, bottom 15% – Long mid, 41% FG, top 57%, or mid SLIGHTLY+. – All mid, 37% FG, bottom 21%. –

    Corner 3, 38% FG, bottom 40% – Non Corner 3, 30% FG, bottom 33% – All 3, 34% FG, bottom 30%

You say he improved at everything, minus scoring, his usage rate went down and his TOV% actually went up, with an assist % that stayed the same, typically with higher usage, percentages go down, but volume goes up, kinda backwards for him.

    Post ASB rookie year: 22/4/3, 39 from3, 59 TS – year 2: 23/3/4, 35 from 3, 55 TS. – year 3: 23/6/4, 37 from 3, 56 TS.

As far as his March archetype winning a championship, not really was the 1A maybe 1B player, but even then the 1A is SPECIAL.

  4. Defense, decision-making, shooting, shot quality, finishing, playing off ball, not being moody and checked out when he’s not running the offense or when he’s in a cold streak.
