i think the future's uncertain until the season's over and we see whether or not there's a huge realignment in talent from the more competitive western conference to the less competitive eastern conference

Re-sign maxey. Figure out what to do with the rest of the cap. They got 70+million in cap this offseason. Maxey is gonna take up about or almost half of that. Lebron, PG, Derozan or someone younger like bridges is also available

Embiid is good (had the most efficient season of all time this year), but dealing with injury. Maxey is sick. They would certainly be a fine team next year if they stuck together or even added more. But it'll only be a few years before Embiid's window starts closing if he doesn't get healthy.
