Sounds like Tsunami Papi may have found a home in Philly and wants to run it back. Was joking about *we can fix him* when he signed, but really impressed by how much he bought into the system this year.
No doubt he’s one of the guys Joels been talking about wanting consistency with. Hopefully they can work something out and bring him back next year for some unfinished business.

Bring him back for a fair price. This team needs athletes in the worst way
Kelly’s interesting. You can tell by his playing style he wants to do well and really cares, just not the most disciplined or consistent player (This can be worked on). I wouldn’t be opposed to resigning him for the right price as long as it allows us to bring in a true 3rd big piece with Tobi leaving.
But we love you Kelly 😘
Oubre reminds me of JR Smith. Talented player but not all there 100% mentally. Not as good a shooter but more athletic. I would love to bring him back on a decent contract, but definitely would not want to overpay him
HE STAY.
He really is a great 6th man type player, as long as we can pay him a 6th man salary we need to keep him. I honestly think he could win the award if he had a whole year in the role and without getting too banged up from his multiple annual car crashes.
He has the heart. Also long and athletic. Some questionable decision making and poor finishing around the rim.
But on a fair price, he’s definitely worth keeping around
Please come back Kelly you made this season much more entertaining and you led the team with 84 dunks!
(Reed second in dunks with 45. Per basketball reference)
Definitely needed the energy and athleticism, also brings some grit and aggression. Not a passive player at all which we just cannot have on this kind of team. Of all the shit this season I thought he was a bright spot especially before his rib injury debacle; man was dropping 20+ per night I think before all that.
We signed him on a minimum contract prove it deal. He proved that he was a more consistent third option than anyone else on the team offensively, and could play tough defense against good players. He was often our most athletic player on any given night, and he brought some grit and energy.
He earned a raise, and the right to stay. it will be hard as hell to bring in enough wings for next year since we are basically starting from scratch. He is a known variable that can start if needed and will have had a year of reps with Joel and Maxey.
