I remember after the draft people were like "Anthony Edwards is gonna be the new Wiggins in Minnesota" and other nonsense. Dude is a beast. The Golbert trade (back when it was seen as a huge failure, and for that season is was) seemed like it was gonna hold Edwards early career back the way bad trades and bad contracts have held back young stars (think a guy like Tatum playing his first few years with Gordon Hayward eating up 30% of the cap injured from the bench, imagine Boston having better role players than Semi Ojeleye and Daniel Theis over the first few years of Tatum's career). Luckily for Edwards the Golbert trade has worked out and it isn't crippling the team like it looked like it would last year.

You speed Joker up by running cross country against the other offensive players. If the other 4 defenders are so locked in on screens and cuts and don't give their man an inch, Joker has to play solo ball and can't create assists. Pair that alongside bothering him with a second defender momentarily off cuts and screens. Very tough defense to play offense against. Joker will find his ways but Minnies D tonight was plentiful textbook.
With Jamal clearly not 100% they have a super good chance of beating them in 6 games.

It will be interesting to see how Denver will bounce back, MPJ and Murray were really bad. Gordon a liability in defence and offence.
