People have bad takes. He didn’t double down.
He has walked this take back.
But also – he’s always been hypocritical of Connelly. I think partly because he sees that seat as the best GM position in the league if he’d want to GM ( he has an episode before were he said this).

A fine point here, but he wan’t exactly saying taking Edwards over Wiseman was fireable. He was saying IF your reason for not taking Wiseman is the presence of KAT it is fireable. And setting Edwards aside for a second he’s right about that logic. If you have a player you absolutely love you take him regardless of the current roster makeup. Those things will work themselves out over time. Just grab the talent when you can.
Now obviously Edwards turned out to be vastly superior to Wiseman. But that’s a different argument. And if that is fireable, then about half the GMs in the league have grounds to be fired every single draft, if a lower player turns out better.
Why does anyone give a fuck about some bum celtics fan’s opinions?
Is it forbidden to be wrong ? Particularly when you express your opinion for 2 hours twice a week
