[Jackson] Pat Riley doesn’t agree with Udonis Haslem’s comment that Tyler Herro is better off the bench and team is better off that way. “He’s a starter,” Riley said. Riley reiterated that Haslem works for Heat “and probably should have kept that to himself” and not said that on ESPN.

Bro is speaking on everything right now

  2. Pat Riley is a 79 year old man.

    Just putting that out there.

  3. Rich-Conclusion-25

Herro definitely shouldn’t come off the bench

  4. This is approaching Quincy Jones levels of honesty 😂😂

  5. defeated_engineer

Don is really fed up with Butler and Haslem’s bullshit. Nice.

Bro defends Tyler Herro who has played less games than Jimmy the last four years while calling out Jimmy for not playing games. I’m going to have to see Tyler fucking Herro in a heat uniform next season, just fade me

  7. Himofey-Mozgov

Riley’s probably looking at this from a “don’t tank Herro’s trade value” perspective

  8. Doesn’t Pat know that’s Mr 305 he’s speaking on

I love how Pat has just let the chopper sing the whole presser. Refreshingly honest end of season presser for a team clearly at a crossroads

  10. Pat at the old age where you just don’t give a fuck anymore

  11. asparagusbruh

Pat’s gonna call his wife a whore at a press conference next at this rate

Yeah that’s true UD, BUT KEEP THAT SHIT TO YOSELF MAN – Pat

  17. jumboponcho

Herro is def a starter, he just can’t start alongside Duncan

  18. RobbobertoBuii

its a good thing Haslem is with NBA TV now lol

  19. I mean maybe you could debate it if Jimmy is healthy (still don’t understand it), but with Jimmy out how the hell can you bring Herro off the bench?

team is going nowhere as it’s currently constructed. I’d not waste my money or time with Jim Butler especially at the price he’s asking. He’s Kawhi East.

Who shit in Riley’s wheaties this morning 😭

  22. Emotional_Act_461

Heat experiencing a bit of turmoil. Sad.

Can’t praise Pat Riley and then also knock him when he speaks his mind. Curious to see how the team reacts, particularly Butler

  24. MysticPurpSports

Haslem spoke and continues to speak too much for what’s he’s offered in his playing days.

Honestly, everyone ripping into Pat Riley needs to shut the hell up and check themselves. We’re talking about one of the goddamn greatest minds in basketball history here, a man who’s directly influenced legends like LeBron James during his transformative years in Miami. Who in this thread has even a fraction of the experience or success that Riley has? None of you. He says Tyler Herro is a starter, then you better believe he’s got solid reasons for it. It’s easy to sit on your ass and criticize, but managing an NBA team? That’s pressure none of us can even begin to fathom.

And as for Udonis Haslem, he definitely needs to know his place. There’s a time and a place for everything, and publicly contradicting your own organization on ESPN isn’t it. That’s not just unprofessional, it’s downright destructive. It could undermine the whole damn team. Pat Riley enforcing discipline isn’t him being a dictator; it’s him doing his job. People need to respect the chain of command and the complexities of team dynamics which clearly, none of you armchair analysts understand. Haslem should focus on his role and leave the strategic decisions to those who are actually in charge. Let’s leave the basketball decisions to the fucking experts, shall we?
