Overall basketball career including high school college and NBA, Kareem is easily the goat.

It’s preference on what type of player you prefer but I don’t see how statistically wise anyone is greater than Lebron. If you are a GM though 9 out of 10 will take Jordan’s career and those 6 rings over lebrons career. If it’s all about titles.

Always comes around but I like the “room” theory by Rich Paul. There’s a short list of names who belong in the convo and who is the actual GOAT is so subjective it’s pointless to argue. For my money, that’s Kareem, Bron, Magic, Kobe, MJ, Russell, Wilt, Duncan, and Bird. I’ve got Kareem as my personal GOAT, but that’s just my opinion.

I love Kareem but my dad said he doesn’t work hard enough on defense

I agree with the consensus that he’s around the 3rd greatest ever

  6. No one really talks about the fact Kareem would still dominate today’s NBA. No one in any generation of the NBA is guarding that skyhook. Athletic and could pass the ball extremely well out of doubles.

Big men get so disrespected in goat convos.

  7. There’s no serious argument for Kareem over MJ or LeBron, and no one was calling Kareem the GOAT over MJ until recently. But you can have him as your personal GOAT and that’s fine.

Nah. Kareem couldn’t make a three if his life depended on it. He had no handles. Wasn’t a great passer. He was limited in the positions he could play. Therefore he wasn’t a complete player. He’s an old relic with an ancient game.

KAJ more chips than Lebron and the same as MJ in chips. KAJ scored 38k+ points without three point shots. Not saying he is the goat but he has a compelling argument.
