It’s more than size, the Timberwolves have a multiple time DPOY in Gobert, one of the best big man shooters in Towns, 3 above average defenders in Conley, Edwards, and McDaniels, a 2 way, athletic, shot creator in Edwards, and a 6th man of the year type of player in Naz Reid.
I’m not sure why people think adding more big men will have the Lakers at a similar level.
