Wish him the best. He accepted NOLA the moment he got here and embraced the team and city. Absolute class from him as a player and a leader.
Honestly feel for him. He’s been nothing but loyal to this organization for 5 years but none of that matters anymore as he’s likely gonna get shipped away. He’s a great player and human being. At the end of the day it’s a business and I’m sure he understands that but it can’t be easy for him to uproot his life again after he found a home here.

Pretty sure ,he’ll be there next year and beyond
cant say the same for number #3

I mean first off it should be noted that the rumor was not from a usual source that typically has info on either BI or Griff, and I haven’t heard anyone confirm it, if so please link
That said, Pels need to be very careful with what they do here. If I am honest, I don’t think Griff has been very good in the trade/FA market. I am very worried that Griff is going to do a Butler/BI trade or Bi for Dejounte Murray and Okongwu. And we are all going to look back and see a better coach get more out of BI and wonder how we could be so dumb to give up a guy that has added wrinkles to his game every year, is loved by teammates, embraces the small market life, and is only 26.
Only teams younger than the Pels that have finished with better records are Minny and OKC. Not bad considering we had much more time missed due to injuries and Zion’s slow start.

He needs that change of scenery I think. I see him fitting much better in somewhere else, like Josh Hart, Jrue, etc. I think it’s time for the team decide to build a team around a certain guy build pieces around him and now that guy is looking like Zion. No contender has more than 1 guy that they’re building around. Minnesota has Anthony Edwards, Dallas has Luka, Denver has Jokic, New York has Brunson, etc. For us, for the start of the season the number 1 guy was CJ, then Ingram kinda picked it up until All-Star break, and until the end of the season Zion looked like the number 1 guy. Either like some of these players accept their role as a complementary piece or just trade them for better fitting players around Zion. Yes, Zion might never pan out, he has serious injury concerns but he’s the best the team got to build around.
