I know we are tired of hearing it. I certainly am. I also think his back is a much bigger problem than he is letting on. I don’t think what we saw in November or December or even last season was a fluke. I think those were a byproduct of a healthier body. The bottom line is back spasms effect everything in your body including your mind and they only improve with rest.

He makes this proclamation almost every other game. I believe he will be better, but I don’t believe he’ll sustain it. Just doesn’t seem like, physically, he can sustain an elite level of play right now.

Probably true. Although it seems like he can only get up for every other game or so with his current issues. That may be enough if the rest of the team is performing well.

I love this team’s depth, so I don’t mind letting Nembhard or TJ get lots of touches and let them run the offense for half the possessions. I’d like to keep Ty fresh for the last 4 minutes of the game. That’s when we need him to create and be at his best.

I also hope the refs and the league do better in my lifetime.
