As great as Lebron is his presence isn’t translating to wins. Are there other options better than Bron? No. But is keeping Bron worth it? Knowing Bron’s gonna throw his weight around, handcuff you, pressure you into doing whatever will make him happy? Let him walk. Start your rebuild now as opposed to keeping Bron for two years, losing for two years, then starting the rebuild when he finally retires. Didn’t they learn from what they did with Kobe? Bron is all about business. He can’t operate that way and expect the org to honor him bc it’s the right thing to do. Jeanie needs to start establishing her own identity. Doing what her father would have done isn’t working. Leave the past in the past and start the building. In 20 years she could be what her dad was, a legend in the sport.
