Should the Warriors Trade ALL their Youth?

Should the Warriors Trade ALL their Youth?

Willard and Dibs debate if the Warriors would be better situated if they hold on to all of their youth as opposed to shipping off their young pieces to get one veteran star in return.

  1. I’d rather we double down on our youth vs trade it all away to get one last championship (which isn’t likely) and be broken for a few years. Double down on moody, podz, JK, and TJD

  2. This sounds like we're trying to assemble the 2004 Lakers with Gary Payton Karl Malone trying to get Kobe a couple more chips without Shaq. LOL how did that work out again?😢😂

  3. This playoffs prove this a young nba league. The old warriors players without the young guys they would not be in the play in, they would be a lottery team. Keep the big 4 young guys, get rid of some of the old guys. You know who are them.

  4. Adding KD is not beating the Celtics, Nuggets or the Wolves. If the Warriors are not willing to overhaul the whole roster then they are not serious about winning. If they are satisfied with just competing in the conference finals that’s not good enough so don’t waste the fans time.

  5. The reason we were a 10 is because Draymond Green and Kerr. We played extremely small all season long DnP MM who by the numbers was our best defender instead you played BP who was our 2nd to last in defender

  6. We don't know who JK is because Kerr won't play him, he doesn't fit in an offense that Kerr has already said we rely on Steph too much. Kerr admits we need to change our offense because of that

  7. This guys are crazy they are looking for a 20 point player, didn't they know that kuminga as a starter was scoring over 20 per game. Didn't they know that per 36 minutes, Kuminga average 22 points, TJD and Moody 17 points per game each, and that is without kerr making any offensive play or a simple pick for them. Just give the young guys the minutes they deserved and they are going to deliver.

  8. We need to get younger . I honestly would consider trading steph and dray. Steph can’t guard any of these young/dynamic guards and that affects us tremendously . Don’t think we can get our defense right with him playing extended minutes

  9. I go back to the 22-23 season and Kerr giving all those minutes to Ty Jerome and Anthony Lamb. That alone should have made this season to be Kerr’s last season with Warriors.

  10. JK is exactly what we need the Aaron Gordon type, but could dribble penetrate. TJD could clearly pass the ball, defend, roll threat etc. Podz could play make, defend, shoot and bail us IN HIS ROOKIE SEASON!!!! Moody could defend, shoot, hustle, rebound. Why are we looking else where?!! We got em here!!! These players have not yet peaked like our vets did. And if we develop them theyre looking like the well balanced team like denver, minnesota which has elite skill and athleticism. The small ball is a thing of the past, it only worked coz back then bigs were slow, unskilled etc. Today these 6'11-7 footers are way faster, longer, more skilled and athletic than what our small ball could offer. And we should def get rid of Dray his toxicity and arrogance cost us more rings than he helped us get. The coaching staff depending too much to him only shows us that theyre not doing theyre job adequately. Minnesota doesnt have a high iq defender like dray but theyre the number 1 defense regardless. It coz they hustle, they have length and discipline and also has great coaching

  11. The Warriors are both too old and too young. They don’t have enough players in their prime. This was the mistake of their draft strategy starting with Wiseman. They went for unproven long term development rather than players who were in their prime. I would have traded the 3 picks (including JK and Moses) for prime time players.

I would let CP and Klay leave or trade them for players in their prime. I would trade Draymond for a player in his prime. I would indeed trade JK for a good player in his prime.

  12. What other team is getting older players to win a chip? Additionally, if you get said "older player", is he a #1 or # 2 option to take over games? The Warriors #2 option is already on the team and his name is Jonathan Kuminga. If you let Moody go, I promise they will regret it later. ALL HE DOES IS PRODUCE POSITIVE RESULTS. Every time he gets on the court. Your adversaries are younger, longer, faster and more athletic and your're talking about bringing in more 30 year olds? I agree you should move on from Wiggins and see what you can get for him. But, get younger or at least bigger in the front court. The only old timers on the team next year should be Steph, Draymond and (maybe) GP2. That small ball s**t ain't working anymore.
