What adjustments can the Cleveland Cavaliers make to steal G2 from the Boston Celtics?

Game 1 did not go as planned for the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Boston Celtics jumped out to an early lead, and despite a heroic effort from Donovan Mitchell, the Cavs were never able to really make the Celtics sweat.

Evan Mobley and Darius Garland failed to produce at a level to keep up with Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum & Derrick White, and when the final buzzer sounded, the Cavs lost 120-95.

What adjustments can JB Bickerstaff make for G2 to help put his team in a better position to win? How can the Cavs slow down the Celtics? Why doesn’t Evan Mobley start the game off with the same aggression we saw in the fourth quarter?

Jason Lloyd & Mikey McNuggets attempt to answer those questions and more on today’s Ultimate Cavaliers Show.

  1. If they can trade for Anthony Edward’s and KAT than maybe we can beat the Celtics…..the Cavs are just overmatched , period. They have 2 pgs and the Boston guards will continue to have a field day.

  2. It's not just the number of points for Mitchell. He hogs the ball, misses important shots, and causes the offense to go into a coma. Look at OKC, they play team ball versus Mavs where Doncic holds the ball. It helps that OKC has shooters like JDub, Joe and Holmgren, while Cavs have non-shooters like Okoro, Mobley and LeVert. Did Garland even play? Altman must go.

  3. This is like the CAVS team years ago when Lebron was here with no other players and Lebron had to carry them.. no difference here..

  4. The Cavaliers Are good with me…….2016 NBA World champion's…..😊….there is an good chance, Cleveland Ohio will never experience this again, at least not this generation……….not from these 3 major sports franchises in Cleveland….I could be wrong……..but……..
