If the NBA gave a shit about market size we would be Number one on the help list. We’re the most valuable basketball franchise even though the last chip we won was prob during our grandparents era. We’ve never gotten the number one pick in god knows how long. And frankly we’ve been in the gutter for the past 30 years with some hope sprinkled in during lebrons run. If anything there’s an argument that the NBA helps small market teams over us. LeBron to Cleveland, wemby, Duncan, Robinson to the spurs, Zion to the pelicans etc. small market teams hit on generational prospects way more than big markets.
