Bucks and Hawks hated him. Suns fans will eventually hate him too and then fire him when they fail.

Not many options out there anyway though so

Thank God. I didn’t want him or Lee after Darvin.

I also think he’s not an awesome fit for them. I said Vogel wouldn’t work too and I see some similar issues with Bud. He’ll be better than Vogel offensively for sure, but that rigidity is going to be tough with the styles of Beal, Booker, and KD.

  4. Lee and Bud were two of the lakers targets. Man, I really hope the Lakers get this right

  5. Good god, you had me scared in the first half there.

  6. They’ve been passing around recently fired coaches for the past 15-20 and it hasn’t worked. Shoutout Spo, Pop and Kerr.

Thank Goodness! Darvin Ham with a championship

  8. Interesting seeing this as a relief to some of you when Bud is an experienced coach who learned under Pop in San Antonio. Was there during their championship era and damn near had one with the Bucks if not for sour relationships. He’s a great coach and one I wished we’d gotten since he actually coaches more than he befriends players.

Pretty sure Ham learned how not to call timeouts from Bud

  10. Would it be funny if Darvin (Phoenix AC) and Frank (HC) switch places next year? Musical chairs, coaches’ edition. 😂

Lol ishiba little trust fund baby throwing a temper tantrum. Have fun with bud we don’t want anymore drop defense dudes with no offensive sets

Honestly neither the Suns nor Lakers jobs seem appealing but ESPECIALLY not the Suns. Suns are set up for failure and have virtually no way to improve or change their roster in meaningful ways.

Their big-3 is incredibly redundant and make a whopping $150M. KD and Beal are likely past their prime, they have ZERO young players who can bring internal growth. They don’t control ANY of their FRPs for the next 5 years and they’re well above the second tax apron during the first year all penalties apply.

There’s absolutely zero way Ishbia admits defeat; he’ll clearly continue chasing his loss and put the Suns further in the hole for years to come.

Great. I don’t think he did a great job in Milwaukee. Yes he won but context matters

Saving the Nepo Blondie and Kobe’s Agent from themselves.
