teams are perplexed on how we are able to run a 6-7 man rotation. they look at us and see talent gap, they cannot comprehend how we keep winning so they resort to blaming the refs.

If they played second halves like they play first halves theyâd be up 2-0 on us. Theyâve been moving the ball well and hitting the open looks they get, especially early on.
The problem? When your offense is about getting a ton of possessions you donât always value them, thinking youâll have another one in 20 seconds. That mentality kills you in crunch time during the playoffs when pace is less important than grit / focus.

If Carlisle spent half the energy on coaching as he did complaining maybe Halliburton would be threatening in crunch time. Getting outscored by a Thibodeau team in a high scoring game is embarrassing enough lol

Indianapolis isn’t really all that small. It’s the 16th largest city in the whole country, and I didn’t check but probably top 10 in NBA cities or something. I mean sure, it’s not New York, but it’s not French Lick either.

Once you start complaining about refs youâve already given up.Â

It goes like this:
* Knicks draft Patrick Ewing.
Knicks are a big market team getting preferential treatment.
* Knicks eat shit, don’t catch a break for 25 years.
*Crickets*
* Knicks sign a second round pick that turns out to be an MVP candidate, and his college buddies that didn’t start for their previous teams. Dispatch an MVP led team, claw out a 2-0 lead in round 2.
Knicks are a big market team getting preferential treatment.

Indiana fans are delusional defending Rick Carlisle saying âhe should be batting for our guys so Iâm ok with his small market statementâ wow

media, casuals, and crybabys really think we somehow got the 2 seed with an injured roster completely through luck and not hard work, dedication, and talent.

It’s the post-Trump playbook. Cry and lie about things being rigged to get the the rubes worked up.

Not to mention that those two teams are beating much bigger markets.

Not to mention the world champion Nuggets at about 700K population of Denver.

Nothing says “I am an absolute clown” quite like suggesting that the NBA pulls strings to make things easier for the New York Knicks.

Carlisle is just shook cuz he realized he canât suddenly make his team play defense after letting them skip doing that all season

it’s really amazing we went from the “he’s getting fouled (x6)” march whistle, to being accused of a big market NBA refball conspiracy in just 7 weeks. our FO’s strategy worked really quite well

And letâs not forget Boston with a population of 650k

Surely such a corrupt league such as the NBA would not allow a big market team go 39 years without a 1st overall pick despite that team being a bottom barrel team in the league for a good 2 decades. Surely…

Someone tell Great Value Jim Carrey to stfu and coach. You literally pissed that game away last night

According to this site Indiana actually is a small market team, they are ranked 22nd in terms of TV audience/market share. To be fair though Milwaukee and OKC are even lower so I donât think itâs a valid argument from Rick, but going by raw population size isnât how you judge a teamâs market share
Their Coach is definitely getting fired after this

imagine losing and then throwing a tantrum about it as an nba head coach

Itâs because he knows he canât beat the Knicks. Iâm surprised how poorly they have played at times

I mean do these sore loser cunts not remember the 20+ years of misery we have suffered through ? But now the cards are stacked for us ? Hobbled and fighting for every basket ? GET THE FUCK OUTTA HERE

I was in Indianapolis recently, if the population is actually that high, the city limits must go far into the suburbs, it felt like there was actually no one there the entire time.
Actually went to a Pacers-Nets game too, paid like $15 for a ticket.
