  1. Nope. They can cry to the refs all they want but they were conceding wide open threes all game because of poor help defense

  2. “They’ll probably get a different whistle at home” Didn’t you get fired up at Bill for making the exact same point?

  3. they dont need to stop him they need to out score him. I would juice up the pace and make him take 40 shots a game. just dont let divincenzo or Hart go off.

  4. If you actually watch the Isaiah hartenshtein play. The double dribble clearly wasn't a double dribble. I agree, the refs shouldn't have called the moving screen in game 1 because it wasn't super clear. But in this instance the refs had it right. In no camera angle did hartenshtein double dribble

  5. The problem is definitely worse in the NBA because there's strange correlations between how big the market is and how many calls teams get the lakers in differential are number 1 with 250 and the knicks are number 2. I'm sure you'll just say it's a coincidence right. The NBA isn't rigged it's biased however towards big names and big games in big markets. That's not even mentioning Anthony Davis going to the Pelicans so the NBA could help sell the team for more money or Patrick Ewing going to the Knicks. I'm sure it's just a coincidence though right you're too cowardly to call out it being biased towards certain teams in certain situations.

Think about the monetary difference in between how much the NBA gets in a 4 game sweep or a 7 game series or even the difference between say the Knicks or the Lakers going to the playoffs versus a team like the Pelicans. You're all too cowardly to call it how it is because you need to cozy up to the NBA and NBA adjacent companies who won't hire you or pay you if you call them out like so blatantly.
Of course the Pacers didn't Miss 150 or however many calls but it is indicative of the trend pretty standard in the league by now big teams and big markets mean big money so they get biased treatment..

There's no backroom shady alley deals it's just the NBA executives keep this regime of refs in power because they don't need to have that conversation the refs know to bias the right games

  6. I don’t want to hear about Alec Burks

He for real is not a viable option in this series.

He was garbage in every minute he played in a Knicks jersey this year. Bogey was the reason for the trade. Burks was just a money matcher contract.

  7. Pacers dont have anyone who can guard Brunson as well as Batum did. They need another wing with length. But attrition is becoming a factor and if he reaggravates his right foot that will slow him as much as defense will.

  8. The Knicks are clearly the better team, but watching Brunson flop off ball and foul bait when driving is disgusting viewing. I went to Nova and loved these guys but they are really turning into the villains with all their crying and mean mugging. I can absolutely see why Knicks fans love them, but they are unwatchable as a non-Knicks guy

  9. The refs have to play defense for the pacers, 130 points without Brunson and OG for four quarters.

  10. Pacers lost game 2, unquestionably. Couldn’t defend, couldn’t rebound, couldn’t make free throws; don’t deserve to win the game. My frustration with the officiating can be summed up by the kickball call in game 1 and the double dribble call in game 1. First one can’t be reviewed, refs got it wrong, and it goes against the Pacers. Second one can’t be reviewed but they reverse the decision because it’s the right call and it goes against the Pacers. 2 huge possessions where the refs directly impact momentum away from the Pacers.

  11. You want your team to win the game without a gift of 6-10 points ……….. NBA wants a long series with good revenues !! Now OG injury will allow that but New York might not w

  12. TJ has been crushing it offensively and defensively and Nemhard got abused. If Brunson is half the Knicks offense and you are getting wrecked bending over backwards with these trapping schemes, why not keep TJ in.

  13. the Pacers don't play any defense. Even with OG out for game 3. Its still a winnable game for the Knicks.

  14. Great analysis Ryan as always.

Carlisle is just butt-hurt that he's getting outcoached by Thibs and his team is getting outplayed.

Indiana don't want it, looks like boys against men in crunch time.

    Knicks in 4

  15. The shai ref baiting this knicks pacers series the 76ers games the wolves vs nuggets game 2 have all had bad reffing

  16. As a longtime Pacers fan I’m fine with most of the missed calls as that’s how sports go. The non kicked ball and the Turner moving screen are the only missed calls that actually bug me given the time of the game they were called and how pivotal they were to the outcome.

  17. So my thing with the 78 calls that were supposedly missed is if that Turner screen is a foul after review, then there probably were 50+ of those screens at least set throughout the 2 games. I don’t think it’s that unbelievable given the precedent the refs set in Game 1.

  18. If you Knicks fans think these little injuries are going to stop … It's what happens on Thibb teams. Too many mins. Cross your fingers and hold your breath because the Pacers are never going to stop running

  19. As a Knicks fan the game one turner screen was right call but should never be made at that point. The game 2 complaints are ridiculous, that was a hard fought aggressive game by both teams. Called pretty fairly. The pacers lost because they didn't play defense, missed free throws, and bad substitutions.

  20. Brunson Brunson Brunson everywhere on all podcasts analytics it is so tiring to get all same information about series…

  21. Let pacers play physical game as they usually do but once they start playing they whistling everything on pacers – let both teams play very physical and pacers easily win series
