Sadly, like many other teams, real fans are being priced out. In the words of the great Tommy Heinsohn, these ticket prices are “ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS”

I’m not from Boston or anywhere near but I’m curious if you have any public watch parties in the city? That’s usually where the best crowds are

Like getting blown by the heatles is anywhere close to getting blown out by the cavs lmao

This is also because they were about to lose game 6 so they were sending them off to Miami with good vibes for game 7 knowing full well this could be (and was) the last game game of the season.

Yep and now the fans are…
“Oh my God we lost one game, Tatum will never be clutch, we’re the worst team ever. Timberwolves are going to kill us. “

This is so different. Fans were cheering on Pierce and KG as they were likely making their last attempt at a title.

Just waiting for some totally level headed dude to come here and tell you that that team deserved it because it consisted of DAWGS and HIMS, who had IT and showcased KILLER INSTINCT.
Anytime anyone uses one of those buzzwords, you know you’re talking to a mental 15year old with the ‚you’re only as good as your last 5 minutes’ attitude.

Expectations for teams change which plays a factor.
But also, If last nights game was game 7 and the last game at the garden of the season, the fans would stay until the end lol. It’s game 2, they played like shit and they’re guaranteed to be back in Boston. Fans rightly left when the starters got benched.

The big 3 and rondo were easy to root for and gave it their all each time, this current Celtics team has always been a disappointment at home in the playoffs with championship expectations playing below average ball at times while being heavily favored. Fans are getting a little restless with Tatum and co with these performances at home.

Game 7 against philly last year when JB called the crowd out to get loud was pretty tremendous. The fans can get loud, they were just disappointed last night as Mitchell killed our momentum over and over.

This video needs more attention. I wish the Celtics Instagram would post this as a reminder to be there for your team… this gave me some chills.

Damn, I remember being at this game yelling my voice out. It made me so proud to be a Celtics fan. I was convinced TD Garden was giving them a boost that would carry over to game 7. Good times 🥲.
It’s a shame to see how far we’ve fallen as a fan base

This was an older, aging team that seemed to exceed their expectations this year, potentially in their last game ever together, already had a ring, and played like their hair was on fire every second of every game all of the time.

Omg. One lost game and the fans suck, Tatum sucks, Joe sucks, everyone sucks. Fans leaving are not “true fans”. No wonder everyone says that Celtics fans are the literal worst.
Y’all mother fuckers need therapy.

Big difference in situation. This series has just started and nobody sees these Cavs as a serious threat. Let’s see what happens in Game 5 and 7, if we get that far.
