  1. There some people we know the media and THeM because they not like us be industry plants hyping and giving weak accolades to certain players, rappers etc… u see this in every industry Rap be Drake, sports be jokics joe burrow, Purdy everyone know these are hand pick players nobody no fan in the streets giving these players high praise the way TV do Nobody if jokics gets 3 MVPs shaq should have 7 jordan should have 10 lebron should have 8 wtf is this

  2. Since 1990? Why that arbitrary cut off point? To make it seem as if LeBron is on Jordan's level. But Jordan has FIVE MVPs

  3. Whoever votes for this award clearly hates Luka. He only led the league in scoring basically all season. Had the same splashy triple doubles like Joner. Won 50 games. Then, to add insult to injury, they vote SGA aheqd of him.

  4. Jokić is better than 99% of the people who voted, and I think he understands basketball better than them, who are they to judge, the players are the ones who should choose the best among themselves!??

  5. People seem to severely dismiss the Thunder's supporting cast. Because Its OKC, I guess no one cares to know anyone besides the one name the media decides to praise.

  6. Why not finally create a rating system, it would be much more realistic to vote for the MVP. For example: number of hits 10% impact, shooting percentage 10%, 3p 10%, free throw percentage,… impact on the team 20%, team position at the end of the season 20%…etc. Eliminate voter subjectivity as much as possible.

  7. If the nuggets were up 2-0 Jokic still wouldn’t get love as MVP. Didn’t happen in a year he got his chip and Final MVP…didn’t happen in the year he got his first “Nikola who?” MVP.

  8. SGA had an amazing season. But why do they keep saying "for a guard"? Are the rules different for guards vs. centers? No. Jokic had more than twice as many rebounds per game, and 50% more assists per game. Are we just going to focus on points because it's convenient for your anti-Jokic narrative? Oh, and by they way, Jokic had a significantly higher FG% as well, and that lady just got done saying that SGA did most of his damage in the paint, so don't give me the Jokic shoots from closer argument. Jokic has a bigger impact on winning, hands down, AND IT'S NOT CLOSE. Only people who are the typical casual, vanity crowd focus on PPG. Basketball is a team sport, and while it's the team with the highest number of points at the end of a game that wins, a lot more goes into scoring those points than just the guy who shoots the ball. It's clear Jokic runs the offense for Denver–that is a lottery team if you pull Jokic off of it.

And people keep focusing on how the Thunder had the best record at 57-25. You know what the Nuggets record this season was?

Yeah, 57-25. I just don't get all this ridiculous hate for Jokic. At least Chiney is keeping it real.

  9. Black folks don’t wanna see a white dude take the reigns in their sport. Why do you think Stephen A Smith has Luka #5 in mvp voting lmao, that’s laughable.
