Jalen Brunson says his foot injury did not impact him tonight: “If I’m out there, I’m playing. There’s no excuse whether I’m hurting or not. If I’m hurting, I’ll come out.”

  1. I know he wasn’t perfect but the fact we were able to make it a close game was thanks to Brunson playing and leading the team.

Considering ALL their injuries I’m just happy we sent Philly home. This just proves that if everyone was 100 percent healthy it would be cake walk to the Finals. Boston is too bi-polar. You can’t be like that versus the Knicks. Finally the world got to see how great Brunson and the Knicks can be.

It was so refreshing going on youtube and instead of seeing fucking Lebron everywhere you saw Brunson

Healthy enough to have made that big 3 late. It took a BS faraway from about 40ft out to beat the Knicks. Well be fine.

Proud of you Jalen. Keep fighting, learning and progressing. We got your back! LGK!

Of course he’s gunna say that. He’s never gunna make excuses. But to me it looked like he wasn’t moving quite the same as he usually does.

Maybe it’s just me being paranoid.

  7. Couldn’t have asked for a better leader.

I get annoyed at how some people seem to disrespect his game by calling him a flopper when he’s constantly getting hacked driving. Brunson is one of the smartest players in the league, with the best footwork, and the ability to draw charges because he anticipates plays before they happen. But he’s a flopper because defenders can’t keep up with him and need to hack to guard him. True true.

Keep growing out the braids, the longer the better for JB

being hurt is a valid excuse but he’s never gonna admit that

  10. That’s a real Derek Jeter answer. Guy is the man.

He does make some errant decisions at times, but he’s learning and I haven’t seen him make the same mistake twice.

What an answer. Of course he was impacted. He subbed himself out after 6 min. But not giving excuses is the appropriate culture we need. Our glorious leader.
