  1. The best advice I have for any Celtics fan is to not even try to figure this team out. I stopped years ago. Just enjoy the ride to Banner 18.

  2. Mazzula needs talking to, his lack of calling time outs,is not what the team needs. He's too comfortable in the job now,he needs reminding He's dispensable.

  3. They gotta get the ball to guys on the move going to the basket, everything orginates from drives at the perimeter. The off ball movement is what rescues bad shooting nights, there was NONE gm2 vs mia and none gm2 vs Cle. Cant only rely on PnR dribble drives to get to the rim.

  4. They can get away with this against teams in east but definitely can't be doing this against the west specially the twolves or Denver.

  5. Mazulla needs to make adjustments. Tatum should stop playing point guard. Let White or Holiday bring the ball. Tatum should be a post-up player. Or a catch and shooter. The offense stagnates when he dribbles too much.

  6. it's a fact that the Cs get in their own way — they're like .500 at home over the last couple of playoff runs. i expect a great bounce back game just like last series, but i sincerely hope it's not a blowout. under 10 pts would be ideal so they need to stay focused & play all 48 mins. maybe then the wild swings from mega to dud can be tamed a little.

  7. Gotta love when Tatums got 18 in the 2nd … they’re playing a good game

But if they wind up losing that same game , all of a sudden it’s “you could see it from the start they didn’t have it”

  8. Tatum is a great talent but he has no dawg in him. His hero is Kobe and he mimics Kobe's game but he doesn't have the competitive nature of Kobe. He is Kobe without the killer instinct. Let's just all accept it.

And this era of the Celts will not see a chip. Facts.

  9. I think this is the DNA of the Js. This ISNT the DNA of KP, WHITE and Jrue. I think we repeat the dumb mistakes when we keep going back to prioritizing the Js and getting them going instead of going into the TEAM ball identity this team has had this season with white and KP.

Stop turning JT into the alpha scorer and watch us win blowouts again. When it comes to offense, this is "White's team". He is the biggest barometer whether we blow out an opponent or not (with a hat tip to Sam). This is a 3 point shooting team, like it or not. D.white is this team's steph. JT is draymond. GSW didnt give more shots to Dray and win right?

We arent winning when the Js are the top scorers. We will win when we have 5-6+ players in double figures and eithwr d.white or sam hauser is one of the top 3. Why? Because when those 2 have it going it means we are making our 3s and shooting alot of those. They are the best shooters in this team.

  10. No Champions on this team. Let’s hope for they are the masters of turn overs and missing all shots to free throws in crunch. Coached big time choker too. Coach did NOTHING to creat change 🙁

  11. The Celts killer Staruss is angrying Tatum again did you see Tatum always try to bait Starauss to foul him to no avail

  12. Don’t use the 08 Celtics as a counter argument, they went to game 7 in the first 2 rounds against some underwhelming teams, and also went to game 6 in the ECF that year. But Celtics lose 1 game and they are the worst team ever

  13. 90s kids didn’t throw the controller at the tv or the game. You’re describing today’s rage quitting kids/young adults.

  14. The Celtics are a very poorly built, very soft and only have one plan to victory. Endless 3s, they have no plan B. Sadly this team will never win a chip. They need someone like a Jimmy Buckets. Someone who can stress the defense. Tatum and Brown are not true super stars. It’s the biggest waste of talent I have ever seen. Please Big Al stop taking endless 3s. Home court actually means nothing for this team.

  15. The Celtics will win one in the Cavaliers’ homecourt and then go on with another roller coaster ride till they come up short again and hope to win the next season; this comment is coming from a disillusioned lifelong Celtics fan!

  16. Mazzula sets the tone for this team. He says it in many ways, “Oh well…” no fire in the belly. I would like to see him have a show of emotion like Malone before the Nuggets game last night. Payton Pritchard was the best player with speed, fire, and energy last game. It mattered to him!

  17. No Porzingis. Tatum might have ankle injury. Cleveland are solid at home. Man, this is going to be tough

  18. Lmao game to game panic is crazy. The 2008 team was better and they had ups and downs. Went 7 games with an 8th seed. Celtics will be fine. Just had a tough game
