Wendell Carter Jr. will undergo surgery to stabilize the third metacarpal in his left hand. The preventive procedure will involve placing a plate at the fracture site.   Carter Jr. is expected to make a full recovery and will be re-evaluated in approximately four weeks following the procedure.

I hope what we saw from him this year wasn’t him at 100% cause that’d be very disappointing.
Hopefully next year he can get back to being a 15 and 9 guy with no freak injuries. Never been a huge banger down low but dude was playing like Bamba most the time.

I hope this was the reason he looked really off all year. Before the injury last year he seemed like he was capable of producing on offense but this year was really bad. Hopefully he can recover to his best self

  3. He was just starting to get into a groove when he hurt his hand at the start of the season too. Didn’t know it was still bothering him.

He seemed off after that hand injury which occurred fairly early in the season, now I’m certain this is why. Glad he’s getting it corrected

Is there another procedure he can undergo that will actually make him play tough and rebound the basketball?

Tbh I know it’s probably an unpopular opinion but I don’t want to move on from him just yet. I rather focus on a bringing a point guard in

  7. Maybe that’s why he had such brick hands down low this year
