[MacMahon] “Mavs muscled their way to a 105-101 Game 3 win to take the series lead over OKC. PJ Washington (27 points) came up big for Dallas again. Mavs beat up Thunder on the glass, led by Luka Doncic’s 15 rebounds.”

PJ Washington was always the best hornet behind Melo

  2. Turbulent_Cherry_481

dort is going to kill luka if this continues. This is not physical basketball, dude is playing football on the court.

  3. IcyMission3

My favorite part was when they hacked Lively and he went 4/4 at the end

  4. theman_themyth_

Dorture chamber is just Flopping around every play hoping for the refs to blow the whistle

  5. Glad to know the 31 points that Washington dropped against us late in the season is somewhat of a common occurrence

  6. Steph-Paul

it would have been a blowout if Mavs made their FTs

  7. HotdogIsaSandwitch

The playoffs are so stressful bruh. A year away from it made me forget how it was. My goodness

  8. willi3blaz3

Wild for the first seed to play hack a lively with 6 minutes left

  9. suzukigun4life

He went from barely averaging double figures through the Clippers series and game 1 of this series, to scoring 29 in Game 2 and 27 in Game 3.

    Unreal turnaround.

  10. K1ngCrimsn

Luka could’ve scored more but Dort was auditioning for WWE out there. Gotta play safe & let PJ cook

  11. South_Emu4902

Shai costed his team the game. “MVP” overrated foul merchant

  12. MagicJohnsonGPT

Wow! It wasn’t just Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving today, we saw key contributions from PJ Washington and Dereck Lively among others, as Dallas won a hard fought Game 3 to take a 2-1 series lead!

  13. StefonDiggsHS

the “PJ wont do this again” crowd real quiet

  14. wizgset27

Kyrie is special man. He’s just filling any role the Mavs need for them to win.

  15. Thank goodness for PJ Washington., Now we don’t have to rely on worthless Hardaway Jr

  16. Need Luka to save that knee by drinking some recovery beers and playing overwatch

  17. HankMoodyMaddafakaaa

Mavs won this because they dominated the rebounds. Poor Luka, looks like he can barely walk

  18. Blandinio

The physicality and will of Doncic to be absolutely beat up carrying multiple injuries and still getting 15 rebounds is crazy, even if him and Irving aren’t making shots their absolute desire to win must be inspiring for their teammates

And big shout-out to PJ, this series would probably be 0-3 without his immense contribution

  19. HoS_CaptObvious

We’re going to have to win this in 5 and hope the other series goes 7 if we have any shot to win a title. Luka really needs a few days off even if his knee won’t recover

  20. BloodLongjumping5227

I’m not sure what sport Dort is playing but I’m positive it’s not basketball

  21. PerformerLive8713

Dort just playing to injure luka…no respect for this OKC team

  22. TopStar200

I said it before Luka on his I’ll contribute one way or another arc. Damn I wish he was fully healthy because the more I see the Mavs i think they could have gone all the way.

  23. Shawshank09

I’m sorry but the Mavs need to play physical & give Thunder a taste of their own medicine. This is beyond basketball. These Thunder dudes out here doing too much. I like Thunder, but this is some loser mentality shit.

  24. Lee Harvey Oswald spotted up in the rafters, taking shots at Lu Dort every single play

  25. Kyrie with the left handed floater is inevitable

  26. ketoburn26

I was told the Thunder was gonna sweep this series?

  27. Decent-Noise-5161

Well I don’t have as much basketball knowledge as those “analysts” on TV, but I would dare say that the OKC sweeping the Mavs is not looking very likely to happen 😕

  28. I don’t think the Thunder are trying to deliberately injure Luka but I think have a plan.

They know he’s got a bunch of injuries and are playing overly physical and if Luka gets hurt, so be it. At least make him hurt more and more as the series goes on.

  29. socialistbcrumb

Feels like every series will have at minimum one game decided by a roleplayer dropping 30ish

  30. TheRoyaleShow

It’s been a while since I’ve gotten to exercise my victim complex on here. I can’t believe these teams have all these non-stars showing out and rising to the moment and we paid $40M for 0 point Tobias Harris.

  31. Avant-Garde-A-Clue

Still baffled by OKC’s trade deadline activity:

    – Acquiring Gordon Hayward’s dead body (??)

    – *Not* trading for another big, especially one who can grab boards and protect the rim

You never know how long these championship windows are going to last. Yeah OKC is young, but so were the KD/Westbrook/Harden Thunder and look how quickly they broke up.

I don’t know, man, feels like they may have punted their own chances this postseason. You have 100 first round picks- why not cash in and get that last big piece you need??

  32. matticans7pointO

Still confused why the Thunder traded for Hayward at the deadline when they already had plenty of scoring and their biggest need was and is rebounding

  33. I remember all the Thunder fans Thursday night saying “We good PJ won’t score like this again this series”

    😭😭😭😭

  34. CodyCryBabies69

PJ for bum ass Grant is the biggest fleece ever. wtf were the hornets doing

  35. Mr_E_Nigma_Solver

It’s never too early or never too late to bring up how the Suns drafted Ayton over this guy for “*team fit*” reasons. 🤣🤡🌞

  36. coffee_black_7

Luka to PJ “Fine. You score the points this game and I’ll get the rebounds.”

  37. Kevin_Jim

PJ Washington shooting 7/11 and then immediately following that up by going 5/12 from 3, has to be to wildest shooting anomaly in the playoffs. Good for the Mavs.

Although, I sympathize with OKC. Us Bucks fans have had our fair share of terrible shooters turning into prime Steph against us for no reason.

  38. The crazy thing is the light rail trains (DART) usually have their maintenance done around this time, but they keep putting it off because they need the trains to take fans to the AAC for these Mav and now Stars games going on.
