[Mike] “Joel Embiid was 24 when they traded for Tobias Harris” is the worst sentence of words I’ve ever read. It’s changed my life

The Tobias PTSD posting is gonna make this a long offseason but we’ll get through this together as long as everybody heals
Trading for him wasn’t the issue, he was fine as the fourth wheel on that Sixers team. Signing him to a max deal the next year was the issue.
Pretty soon this sub won’t be able to blame Harris for everything that’s wrong with the Sixers (no I’m not saying he was good) and then they’ll turn on Embiid when they decide he’s the commonality to all the failures, then when he leaves they’ll blame Maxey and sonit will go until they accept that this team is one of the most poorly run teams in pro sports and will remain that way until Josh Harris is gone
What a fucking waste
Since none of us have moms and we’re doing a rewriting history exercise on this Mother’s Day do we really think Jimmy Butler and Joel plus whatever flotsam the team cobbles together is anymore of a title contender than that ‘21 team would’ve been?
The greatest athlete in Philly in decades (I’d argue ever, fight me) gets actively hampered by a max contract role player for his entire prime. Wonderful stuff
The big issue isn’t Tobi, it’s the fact that apart from Maxey, the organization has been fucking awful in the draft for almost the last decade.
