“I respect your guys’ job, I respect the guys on TV. I don’t always agree with the things that they say. When they’re fair, and they take emotion out of it, whatever way they’re leaning towards and they’re fair, I respect it. I understand what the media has brought to our game, and more eyes, and more attention, and how everybody has benefited from that. So I wouldn’t say I take it as disrespect, right? Like I said, I don’t always agree with what they say. Maybe I feel like they’re not watching everything else that I’m doing, but that’s not my job to focus on that or give it any attention. My job is to be the best player I can be for our team any given night. Yeah, I would love to make every shot I take, and I know I can shoot better, and I will. But at this time of the season, as long as we win and we’re trending in the right direction, I know me scoring will come. I’ve done that plenty of, plenty of times. So I just try to impact the game in other ways and just dominate, dominate the game, and not be defined as just a scorer.”

Bro has a ChatGPT built in on his brain for his responses
Many times the media people disrespect others people and ask a lot of inappropriate/impolite questions.
Tatum the type of guy you could ask “Star Wars or Star Trek?” and he’d give an hour long response describing the merits of both and how they each appeal to different parts of the human experience.
Really curious to see if this response is praised or clowned by r/nba

Tatum turns around and blows a kiss. Not even after he made a shot either, Holiday made a shot.
Tatum’s an odd fella
Tatum saying how he really feels then saying 300 words to cover it up to not upset anyone… and then wearing an airbrushed Kobe shirt to the next game
Tatum’s poor shooting playoff games are in his head. That’s too bad for the Celtics.
Such a baby just shoot better
I love this man so much.
Me yelling great answer like we’re on Family Fued

When are yall gonna get we don’t care about Tatum responses lmao
How much PR training has he done? Incredible lol
JT is a solid dude. That Get Out / Klan rally crowd is nauseating but can’t help but root for my man. That was an a lot more official and mature answer than that tender nonsense he was saying after game 2.
That’s why they call him the diplomat
I liken Jayson Tatum to Adam Driver. The NBA & Hollywood really want to make them leading men but a lot of the audience just isn’t buying it.
A simple “I know I’ve been playing like shit but I will be better” would suffice
Least charismatic player of all time
Don’t think there’s been a single Celtics playoff game where he was the best player on the court. Every game he’s outplayed by his own teammates or opposing players.
Man has the cushiest gig of any star in a looooong time.
He seem to start off hot and cool off in the second half based on stats.

Looking at his splits, his percentages are significantly worse in the second half. It could be defensive adjustments, or just fatigue?
If you ain’t first your last. Nobody cares about your reg season accomplishments in the playoffs.
He’s not a Superstar he got a world of talent. But know Killer Instinct and his boy Brown has no handles.
