  1. This lottery system is one of the main reasons I pay little attention to the NBA… What a bunch of arrogant greedy clowns the NBA executives seem to be….. Couple that with Piston's inability to share a common vision of team-improvement, and identifying the road to get there, all I can say is "Go Lions, Tigers, and Wings"….. Name change should be to add an extra "S" , to "Piss-tons"…… Yellow Uniforms with a Urinal Icon on the front…..

  2. been a pistons fan since '88 and this is the worst i've felt in a loooooong time. even worse than last year. tsk.

  3. I'm of the opinion that pick location is far less important than scouting the correct pick. There is always great talent in the draft, you just gotta find it.

  4. throw the bank at OG ANOUBY get rejected..trade 5th pk n sasser for kuzma sign trent jr n p.will…get to 25 wins ..become 6 worst team win 2025 draft cooper flagg..lol..lucky if clingan is their…theyll draft ron Holland

  5. I understand that you guys @ Detroitnews was let in on the Nba draft Process before.2024 for the Detroit Pistons Has Been the same as any other year, questionable and upsetting. Fans Has questioned the creditbilty from the NBA for many years. enough is enough. The Creditbilty of the NBA needs to be investigated, furthermore ping pong pulling needs to be live,no more hiding behind the room with a group of paid off representatives that's not going say speak on the matter. The Billions the NBA Make off of the fans,we should be able to watch and engage in a fare sport. Its Been everything but…DETROIT AND NBA FANS WANTS ANSWERS

  6. I know this sounds crazy but out of all the drafts to get outside the top three this was the one because of how muddy this draft feels … I do think it’s not as bad as people say because it’s so young and international

  7. They should trade the pick if they can, or draft and then immediately trade for something on draft night. They need a direction or their going to be drafting at five for the next ten years.

  8. You knew it was going to happen, screwed again! Just get me somebody that can hit 3’s and help Cade. Maybe not turn the ball over much. Can’t be too hard, come on Troy!

  9. Best pistons channel on YouTube right here.

Small chance that Zach Rochester falls to us, small. After that Cody Williams is my choice (as of now) I'd go with. One of your commenters put me on DaRon Holmes, pistons have to find a way to get him. I think he's a "re-draft lottery pick" in 5 years. I'd also shop Duren to Okc for 2 first round picks.

Botton line we're not going to be good next year. If Asusar can get to league average on 3pt% and pistons can settle in with Cade, Ivy and Asusar at 1,2,3 next year can still be a massive improvement/watchable and we'll still get a swing in the lottery, which I see as a good thing because we just don't have enough pieces to make a real run (down the line obviously).

  10. If there is a trade for the pick it might be one of those made in the last second by a team who has really targeted someone still on the board at 5. Maybe they will "overpay" for it and we'll get lucky with a lower pick. We're due for some luck. I also agree that your mother was a great woman!

  11. Draft Bronny before the Lakers at 53 and get LeBron or force the Lakers to trade their good role players for Bronny.

  12. Pistons must trade this pick. The 5th pick in a weak draft and we still do not have a leader. Weaver is a lame duck and the new leader would have to rely on his work.

  13. Luck didn't have anything to do with it. N B A is doing what they want to do, believe me. They're chosen who they want and where they want them to be. Started with the Bad Boys.😢

  14. The only thing that could give me any reason for hope going into this coming season would be seeing someone competent and proven hired as our President of basketball operations and then seeing that person send Monty home – and if he wants to send Weaver with him – so be it. We need a young coach that can actually mentor and develop this young core. We seem to have no real "plan" for player development – compared to say the Miami Heat who focus on helping their players develop in season and off season.
