The wildcard is definitely Wizards, do they get their PG of the future in Topic or pair Rischer with Bilal for a dynamic defensive wing combo? HOU and teams 5-7 don't need PG so spurs can afford to grab Dalton at 4 and a PG at 8

I think the Hawks won the draft now too. Went from 10 to 1. They have 3 decisions now, they can either ship their first overall pick for reinforcements for Trae and Dejounte. They blow it up to rebuild around Sarr and Jalen Johnson. Or they draft him and see how he fits around Trae and Dejounte. Now this did kind of mess us up because now they will probably be better now making those firsts not as valuable
I think Washington takes Clingan IMO. AND Houston takes Shepperd.

I see two scenarios: 1) Spurs draft a wing and a guard (like this mock draft; or 2) Spurs draft a wing and package the 8th pick (and more) for a veteran point guard. The advantage of the second option is that you should end up with 2 players who can help you out immediately. I actually like Option 2 provided you don’t have to give up too much to get the veteran point guard. This is a team that could use more veteran leadership. Also, this team needs more defense and that is not a strength of Dillingham as I understand it.

For me the best option for San Antonio would to draft someone at 4 then trade away pick 8 for an already established star. I would love the Spurs to draft Zachary Risacher at 4. Then trade Keldon Joshson, Pick 8 and another 1st round pick to Detroit for Cade Cunningham. Regardless of what happens, this is a very important offseason for the Spurs

I've seen a couple of mock drafts now that have us taking Risacher. Dillingham coming off the bench with scoring would be amazing. That still leaves us with a somewhat weak 2nd big and so our defense would not be that great – but if Dillingham can pick off a pass or two, I'm looking forward to it.
