If I'm the Spurs I'm signing a vet PG who can steady the ship and not risking anything on any of these mid guards in this draft outside of Topic who will probably be gone. That being said I'm taking Reed Shep and Dalton Knetch who will day one be productive floor spacing hard nose players to support Wemby but can also grow with him.

People might call me being old school here, I know Wembanyama has the skills like a guard and he wants to be more of a power forward but he is 7'4 like can you imagine how dominant he would be if he has all the space to drive to the paint without other players logjamming the area? Plus Wembanyama's jumpshot is pretty inconsistent, same as Sochan, the worst thing they can do is to take another big man who cant stretch the floor and logjam Wemby's area even further.
