I find these a bit misleading because the core that got a team lots of wins might no longer be there. Does it really matter how many wins we got from 2014-2021 when Kyle/Demar/JV/Fred/Serge/Pascal/OG are no longer with the team?

Nice. I doubt it’ll be long before Denver overtakes that 5 spot (and a few others), but if raps can rebuild faster than the rest of the current tops they’ll crack top 5 again.
I’m not sure how a phew people around here are failing to see the value in stats like these – as an organization (particularly one with a legit national audience) it helps attract better investors and sponsorships, and it makes the team look way awesome to free agents who want to go somewhere that takes winning seriously.

If the last 3 to 5 years is taken only raptors are in a completely different spot
Playoff win percentage and participation would also look much much different

I mean from 2013-2014 season to 2023-2024 we’ve had 7 straight post season appearance, 1 title and a single playoff appearance the year we drafted the ROTY. When you look at it we’ve been pretty lucky to have won a title in year 6 of a 7 year run. There are probably just over 10 teams that have yet to even win one, many of them being exceedingly older franchise than us. The biggest failure has been the Suns, 3 finals appearances in 3 decades (two of which were last century). They’ve had multiple MVP players in that span while I don’t think we’ve had any.

Because they were so consistently a top East team year after year with DeRozan and Lowry. If Lebron was not in the East, Raptors would have made 3 Finals Appearance and maybe one at least once. But that’s a lame excuse, so I won’t elaborate any more
