CLEVELAND CAVALIERS VS. BOSTON CELTICS GAME 4 INSTANT REACTION

CLEVELAND CAVALIERS VS. BOSTON CELTICS GAME 4 INSTANT REACTION

Donovan Mitchell did not suit up for the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 4 against the Boston Celtics, but in the first half, his teammates picked up the slack.

Max Strus had a series high 15 points, Caris Levert had 12 and Darius Garland had 11 in the first half to keep the Celtics within arms reach. Boston led 62-57 at the break.

Jayson Tatum lead all scorers with 23 points.

Can the Cavs keep this up in the second half?

  1. If LeBron feels the fire, and don't forget junior… talk about a team!!!!! Combination of smart and fast, seasoned and hungry, get the refs out of the mix, Lights out!!!!! Another ring for the King, and some bling for the team, and Bronny gets the scene 😎👆👍✌️💯✔️✍️

  2. I was worried about Cleveland in a post Mitchell scenario, but seeing garland today gives me hope to think that we aren’t just nothing without him

  3. The problem has always been mitchell and garland suck together. They play so much better when only 1 is on the floor.

  4. Sickening how many times Garland and LeVert ignored Mobley when he was fighting a smaller man for position in the post. Get a clue!!!! We won game 2 because it ran through Mobley! We had barely any free throws partially because we avoid giving the ball to Mobley when he has a mismatch for some mind boggling reason. And why are all our guys launching 3s five feet BEYOND the 3-point line? Like take a dribble and go to the line!?! It’s far enough! Jeez oh man does anyone on the bench see this stuff and say anything to the players????

  5. poorly officiated game. Strus had zero points from 3 minutes left in the 2nd quarter. Okoro is unplayable because he can only guard small guards which leads you to have to somehow hide Garland and Mitchell on taller guys. Rebounding was awful. Cant wait for the offseason it WILL BE CRAZY with all the movements. Cant wait to see what moves the cavs can make.

  6. The refs were ABOMINABLE!!!!! We only had 7 free throws and TWO of those were techs! So we only had 5 free throws??!!!. Ridic. This is where I have ZERO ANSWERS for my friends who say that the NBA is fixed, the refs own it and they won't watch it…..? SUCH bad reffing. Does anyone know if they ever have to watch back the games where there is such a ft disparity? And I don't mean just the last two minutes. I think there should be people watching games where they are only watching how the reffing is. Maybe by firing refs who are repeat offenders will help to keep the game pure?

On a positive note – Garland looked like Garland again! I was so happy for him (and us!). He did a great job facilitating and getting our guys involved. Everyone looked so so much better than the last game. But Why do we look so scared to shoot tho?? I mean players are WIDE OPEN looking to pass the ball……. Is that how low our confidence is?

I still love our team and won't give up on them! GO CAVS!!!

  7. Cavs and celtics took virtually the same amount of two's. The bad calls were on us on defense. Struss and DG getting called constantly for playing remotely physical unlike the other guys on the C's

  8. Mannnnn that 4th quarter pissed me off. We just kept shooting 3s. Mobley multiple times had a mismatch in the paint and we didn’t try at all to get him the ball. Plus overall we didn’t attack the rim enough, THE REFS CALLED A BS GAME, and LITERALLY if we had Jarrett Allen in this game we would’ve won. If we had a fully healthy team we’d win this series.
