If they arenāt going to fire Morey and rebuild with a competent GM, then it makes sense to trade the first round pick, just not for whoās being reported on.

Not trading 15th pick this year for Caruso. Actually Iām torn because I wanted to trade the pick in a package for a player, but honestly the better option may just be to stay and draft Filipkowski or Edey.
Zach Edey is currently being mocked at the end of the 1st round but the dude just measured in at legit 7ā4ā barefoot, a Wemby/Wilt size 7ā10ā wingspan, and a 9ā7ā standing reach. He also put up better athletic testing than top 5 pick Donovan Clingan from UConn.
We saw this story before, people saying heās too slow to guard the PnR and yet Jokic just won his 3rd MVP and Gobert just won his 4th DPOY award like when are people going to learn you canāt stop size? Edey makes an immediate impact.
Do they not see we do the wrong things in every off-season

Iām the one always preaching you canāt win with youth in the NBA and yet look at the NBA playoffs and how big a role Chet Holmgren and Derek Lively are playing as rookies.
You also got Cason Wallace and Ben Shephard playing big minutes and making big time plays in the playoffs.
What we are seeing is similar to NFL where these rookies are coming in ready to rock and roll unlike before.
Maxey should have had more minutes as a rookie because per 36 he was averaging 19 ppg in reg season, and 18 ppg in the playoffs as a rookie. Guys gotta get opportunity tho.
So what Iām saying is if we donāt use this pick as part a package to bring home somebody like Mikal Bridges, then they gotta draft Zach Edey as Embiid backup who would make an immediate impact as a rookie based on his size along. With all these freakishly long players coming into the league, guys like Edey are only going to become more valuable because heās actually taller and longer than Wemby is, so if Embiid were out, we still got length, plus he can learn from Embiid and become great.
Iām not saying Edey would be great on any team, but with Embiid as his mentor he can be.
Eastwood your on point with everything you said I would take durant he's a 3rd option that can be a 2nd and 1st option in short spots that pick is not going to be used correctly by the 6ers anyway lets do it!!!!
I think everything Iām about to say is realistic.
If we can do a sign and trade with Tobias for Kyle Kuzma that would be a home run. Then if we can get Alex Caruso, Royce OāNeal/Dorrey FinnySmith, Aaron holiday, maybe Patrick williams from the bulls, Talen Horton Tucker from the Jazz and Jalen smith from the pacers Iād be geeked.
Yeah no point in drafting someone because they wonāt get any playing time anyway and then they will go somewhere else in a couple years and get quality minutes for a good team. (Isiah Joe)
If we had KD instead of Tobi we would have won the East. If we had PG13 instead of Tobi we would have won the East. If we had Mikal instead of Tobi we atleast make ECF vs Celtics.
The Suns getting KD was risky, but somewhat understandable because itās Kevin Durant. But when they traded for Brad Beal that was atrocious like I remember being adamant 3 years ago that Maxey was better then Beal and Maxey was only avg like 17 ppg at the time, but Beal has never been a winner, nor even a dominant or efficient player. Not in HS, not in college, and not in pros. Beal has always just been a volume scoring combo guard thatās it.
Embiid was the best player in the series vs the Knicks, why do our fans hate our players so much? This is why Oubre said after the playoff loss he just wants to play in a city he feels loved. Our fans are way way way too negative and itās ruining our chances of signing free agents.
Darryl Morey trades for all kinds of players thatās how he builds his teams. Didnāt we trade a 1st for melton?

And the Suns donāt even need to come to their senses, in fact I hope they donāt, because KD is about to request a trade anyway, heās not stupid.
Iām also open to drafting Bronny and signing Lebron for 2 years. We can sit Lebron til ASG and ramp him up towards the playoffs and run away with the East. Say what you will about Lebron but heās one of the smartest players to ever touch a basketball and combining him with a big like Embiid whose he won a championship with AD already, and a guard like Maxey where heās won multiple with Kyrie and Wade, would be perfect. Maxey, Lebron, Embiid, and literally 2 Tobias Harrisā could win us a chip with a competent bench.
We need to go after Malik Monk 1. Sacramento can't match 2 he can play besides Maxey ball handler, can play pick and role 15 to 20 points for a game you guys don't get you don't need a OLD PLAYER, TO WIN A CHIP!!!! Monk is a good piece.
IDK bruh I think I still like Brandon Ingram or Jimmy Butler… But I would definitely take KD for sure.
