First time hearing this take. Funny how everyone says the Pacers have an easy path but no one mentions the Celtics.

I’ve mostly avoided talking about this because I don’t care about all the outside noise saying the Pacers are only playing injury riddled teams. We have had to go through Dame, Middleton, and Brunson and people still discredit us, but no one seems to mention the Celtics.

I metaphorically wipe my ass with Kevin O’Conner tweets

The national podcasts are already talking about it. I heard something similar from either Lowe or Simmons in the last day, too.

Where is our, “yeah but other teams against the Pacer’s aren’t playing against Mathurin”, comments? If we are going to play this game, then even the Pacers are not at full strength.

IMO he is our 2nd or 3rd best player and got no time to learn how to play with Pascal. And did anyone see him at the end of the All Star Break? He was starting to explode as a player.

If we play the Celtics, I’m not expecting to get swept. I bet we win 2 maybe 3 games

He’s right the Celtics should underestimate the Pacers

Bill Simmons has been preemptively saying it will be a travesty if they don’t go to the Finals because the stars have aligned so much alongside being a great team

There’s a bit of a difference. Celtics are that good this year, with size to boot. We ARE lucky that both the Bucks and Knicks were missing key players. And my fear is that the Celtics will actually sweep us and other fan bases will call us frauds. It’s cruel and unusual punishment.

  9. Gonna look real silly in a few weeks. Pacers in 6.
