  1. This was the worst I have ever seen Luka play. Missing shots is part of the game but he topped it with terrible decision making.

  2. Fucking funny how all series Mavs fans have been crying about FT’s and now they’re depending on them to help win lmao. Karma is a bitch it seems 😂

  3. They asking a lot of j Williams it seems , lot of iso plays and forcing him to make reads while he cant for now

  4. Thanks Jason. Its truly the golden era of Nuggets Basketball and we've felt that about the team but often wonder if its just a biased opinion, but it means a lot to hear it from a fan of another team especially the Lakers!

  5. The reason former players are disrespecting the new generation is because most of the new generation are not honoring the game and the fans like previous generations and they are the ones reaping the most benefits from the foundation, standards and sacrifices set before them. I would feel some type of way too if the thing I loved was being taken advantage of and being taken for granted smh

  6. Jason, they aren’t gonna like the Luka criticisms🫢😂 buts it’s true. 77 needs to act like he’s been here before and stop berating the refs every single play

  7. I was a massive Luka fan back in 2019-2021 and was following him closely. I loved watching highlights and rooting for him. But then after a while I just began getting annoyed by his attitude. Then Jokic won the championship and the MVP stuff happened and I began following the Jokic story instead. Not only do I like Jokic's attitude better, but I also like him better as a player. In fact, I like the vibe around all the players on the Nuggets.

  8. MAILBAG: Do you think off-ball defense is more about willingness or a lot of instincts and IQ you're born with?
Cause I understand someone like D-lo being a bad on-ball defender, he just doesn't have the physical tools… But he's freaking awful off-ball too: misses cuts, doubles off of the wrong guys etc…

Btw been enjoying this year's playoffs more than ever!! Amazing to watch games and understand most of the Xs and Os, thank you!!

  9. I wonder if he'll post a video if the Celtics win a championship

Tatum dropping 33 and an efficient Jaylen Brown just stomp his Celtic hate

  10. "The Lakers are a MUCH better offensive team than Minnesota." can he go one video without mentioning Lebron or the Lakers?

  11. He said I don’t have a personal beef with JT no one said you had personal beef with the guy but sayin oh I think he is a really nice guy 30:17 then you say it’s a fact he’s 7-10 best player in the league just stamping a ceiling on him like that is suspicious to me but yet he keeps beating some of the guys in front of him and is goes deeper in the playoffs more then 3 or 4 of the guys in front of him

  12. The Warriors repeated in 2017-2018, not that long ago. The Lakers 3 peat was over 20 years ago. That was a long time ago. I doubt Denver can do 3.

  13. Just for clarity, I have no interest in either team. To my eye the game OKC was allowed to play looked like old school Pistons. Haven’t checked box score but expect large disparity in fouls and free throws.

  14. Mailbag question:

Been watching your pod for a couple years now, and I’ve noticed that a common piece needed for teams is a big, strong, two-way forward. What are some examples of players that fit this mold that you think are “available” for trade?

  15. I'll say this again dort could do nothing with Luka if Luka was fully healthy. The only reason oklahoma is still in this series is because of a hurt Luka. But I still give alot a props to oklahoma as a whole. They are a really good team

  16. Credit to OKC for getting the Game 4 win. That was pivotal. As for Dallas uh.. They have some advantages, so to be struggling like they are currently is eye opening.

Luka is playing bad, as is Kyrie, enough said. And this guy better not flip flop noooo.. You picked Dallas lol I don’t want to hear that ‘Either way’ BS just cause Dallas lost last nite. Sounding just like Colin Cowherd Jr.

  17. Tatum being potentially the “10th best player in the league” is the most laughable thing I’ve ever heard on this channel. Tatum is an elite defender, top playmaker in the league, extremely gifted offensive weapon who always rises to the occasion. Who are the 9 other guys in front of him? This whole discourse around him lately is absolutely ridiculous. He’s just being held to super high standards that basically no one else in the league his age is held to just because he’s had collective success from the start. I’ve seen Embiid shit the bed year after year in the Playoffs, Luka struggling heavily this year, AD crumble under pressure multiple times (this year at last he’s shown up every game in the Playoffs), KD be the most talented horrible leader ever, etc and none of them are talked the way Tatum is talked about after a bad game. The narrative around Tatum is extremely toxic.

  18. I’m sorry but this series is so boring I just respect the host of this podcast so I watch.

  19. Not gonna lie, the spoilers for Shogun was not what I expected in Hoops Tonight. 😂😭 Need to do a spoiler warning! (Yes saying which actors are gone now and not returning is a huge spoiler to people not finished with the show aka me)

  20. the playmaking thing i disagree with shai has actually been having his best playmaking stretch of his career we just simply haven’t been hitting our shots or else he’d be averaging 8-9 assists this series with just over 2 turnovers a game

  21. Watching Shai just score endlessly was amazing, but if kyrie and Luka just make a couple more shot I feel they would win, they didn’t look motivated

  22. Im a huge fan of a KAT, NAW and picks for KD. KAT is a star in name and NAW is a great defensive piece the suns could use. Neither is redundant on that roster and obviously KD would fulfill that offensive hole

  23. I appreciate Luka’s incredible skillset & IQ but I 100% agree with your take. It’s like he feels entitled to get a call on EVERY single possession that doesn’t end in him getting a bucket or assist. How does he think the ref misses a call on every possession??
