How to guard Nikola Jokic 101:
You CAN’T. Pray to the basketball gods he has an off night 🙏
I remember seeing people say Jokic and the Nuggets were frauds after game 2 😆
It’s not a series until a team wins a … home game?
What is a Defensive Player of the Year to a Slingshot?
We might be witnessing the greatest peaks of all time for an offensive player. This man has mastered every facet of the offense. 40 points on 15-22 shooting against the 4x DPOY and the best defense in the league. That was a statement game from Joker.
Thank you Shaq for talking shit and pissing the man off lol
I fear the Wolves awoke a sleeping giant.
It’s absolutely crazy that anyone, specially the guys who have played in the NBA can think that anyone is better than Jokic. No one is even in the same vicinity as the Joker…
Jokic is legitimately game-breakingly good at basketball
Home court disadvantage curse has been officially broken. The series begins now.
Jokic just put Rudy Gobert through a humiliation ritual on national TV
“brother, I have 40”
Watching the MVP dickslap the DPOY over and over again is fun to watch, ngl.
Well, watching that Jokic performance was worth only getting 4 hours of sleep. All-timer.
wolves went 100 mph into a brick wall
christian braun on anthony edwards is what lakers fans thought rui on jokic was

Minnesota picked a pretty bad time to lose three in a row.
The Timberwolves have suffered one of the bleakest 20 year stretches a team will ever go through and their reward was a 4 day break between games 2 and 3, where for a brief 96 hour period they actually had some hope, only for it to be destroyed by a 300 pound Serbian that treats basketball like it’s his 9-5 desk job. Tragic. Hilarious. Basketball.
Remember when Stephen A said the Wolves were gonna sweep and Bill Simmons declared them the next “it” team everyone would emulate? Pepperidge Farm remembers.
Can we talk about Jamal Crawford calling Gobert dog food on national television lol
Jokic since Shaq told him that SGA should’ve been MVP:
33 ppg, 9.3 rpg, 9.6 apg on 61% shooting, and a 3-0 record against the Wolves to turn this series upside down.
Not bad for a guy that some reactionary r/NBA folks were calling a “fraud MVP.”
Aggressive Jokic is so fun to watch. It has to be terrifying for the opponent because he just gets whatever he wants then beats any adjustments they make too.
Credit to Christian Braun too. Locked up Edwards all night and was definitely in his head
We have to thank the Wolves and the national media for waking up the Nuggets. They were sleepwalking for the first 7 games of the postseason
Jokic went full Hakeem Olajuwon vs. David Robinson on Rudy Gobert. Gotta be one of the most legendary performances I ever witnessed in that third quarter.
What are “Derek Lively” “Chet Holmgren” “Daniel Gafford” “Jaylin Williams” going to do against this?
I’m straight up not having a good time.
Raise your hand if you’ve been personally victimized by Nikola Jokic
Wolves *clearly* missed Conley tonight since the Nuggets made it a mission to blitz Edwards any time he touched the ball. With all the focus on Edwards, the Nuggets made the game simple — make someone besides Edwards beat you and without Conley to initiate the offense for the Wolves, their offense looked lost.
On the other end, Jokic just gave another reminder why he’s the MVP — **40 points and 10+ assists with 0 turnovers**. This felt reminiscent of Hakeem’s performance against Robinson after they awarded him the MVP where he clearly took it personally. Jokic was orchestrating *everything*, analyzing the Wolves’ offense to communicate with his own teammates what to expect, initiating the offense and dissecting the Wolves’ defense to find the right look for others or making it look like a cakewalk hitting his shots from virtually everywhere.
Game 6 will be interesting if Conley’s healthy and they figure out how to make adjustments.
I invest hundreds of hours a year into Minnesota sports yet they always bring me immense sadness. Am I stupid?
“I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant” – Admiral Chris Finch
Fuck the NBA for making me stay up this late, Fuck Shaq for making Jokic angry, and fuck the injury gods for taking our PG away. See yall Thursday.
The hot takes after game 2 were insane lol
0 turnovers for Jokic, unbelievable
The Timberwolves are 0-3 ever since Chuck guaranteed that this series would be a sweep.
Shaq – “I need to see more from the Joker”
That 3rd quarter by Jokic was just special. Appreciate this while it’s here
That was one of the best quarters from a single player I’ve seen in the playoffs.
DEPORT JOKIC
IT’S THE ONLY WAY TO STOP THE NUGGETS
“Anatomy of a wolf” by Nikola Jokic – new bestseller coming to you soon
Jokic 41st overall pick
Murray 7th overall pick
Porter Jr. 14th overall pick
KCP for Will Barton and Monte Morris
Aaron Gordon for Gary Harris, R.J. Hampton, and a first
Christian Braun 21st overall pick
Justin Holiday vet minimum free agent
Reggie Jackson vet minimum free agent
Incredible roster construction.
As a Wolves fan that sucked. As a basketball fan that was awesome, just a masterful display by an all time great
Jokic just clocked in and did his job after being presented with his Employee of the Year award for the third time.
