I did not see the game but watched the highlights. Clark held her own game. It’s hard to score when you don’t have the ball. When she does, she scores. Win or not, it was a sold out game at 10,000 capacity. If it was 15 or 20 thousand, it would have been sold out as well. When or lose, Clark is the franchise that is driving up sales and viewers.

Tried for the first time ever to watch this game. Was going back and forth between paint drying and this game for the first 2 minutes. Fell asleep after 1 and decided to stick with paint drying. Snoooze fest even with clark. 😴
Game was not centered to CC… no triangle offense and too slow in regards to rotation… they need an IOWA style of ball offense rotation. Peace to all..!
I'm hoping the next coach of Indiana will understand basketball a little bit more. This is the stupidest way to use someone like Clark and her ability to open space and playmaking.

Im a college sports fan in the Big 12, never watched a WNBA game in my life and this is the first one. Personally, I'm not interested in pro sports it just doesn't give me that energy like college sports do- but most of here are watching this because of one person specifically: Caitlin Clark. Good game, was interesting to watch, will take some time getting into watching women sports.
On the analysis side of things of how this game went (I am no expert, just observing- I welcome criticism) Indiana needs to play defense. Literally all game I just seen every player looking like deer in headlights waiting for the accident to happen and do nothing. I think this game would have definitely gone differently if that happened.
Clark analysis (again, no expert just an observer): its her first game, let alone season, don't expect too much. She did excellent scoring wise. It was pretty clear they did not want her to score off the 3pt line, they guarded her pretty well until she started lighting it up. As Clark gets more comfortable and eventually settled in league, she will find her rythm and do what she did back with Iowa, looking forward to seeing that.
Overall, this was dope. Ill give this WNBA thing some watches. Not my drift but Clark has made it possible for a lot who wouldn't watch the WNBA possible so here we are catching highlights. Kudos to her and what she's bring and doing for the WNBA.

From what I've seen so far, just like the NBA, and NFL, the WNBA is a black dominated league, the white players are just there to fill a quota. What CC did in college means nothing now. This is why her coach already wanted to stop her from just shooting threes. She knows what the league is about.
Clark must be the first offensive option. Coach need to maximized Clark.

A sold out venue is a great start for the wnba.
They got their boots smoked. Two things need to happen. 1. CC has got to play better defense, she was getting abused out there. I guess that is one thing her and steph have in common. 2. They have to take the chains off this freaking kid. Let her shoot. I know it's the first game but if they want to compete. They brought her to the W to build the franchise around her and Boston. Let them go! They can't deal with AB down in the paint and CC has the potential to shoot the roof off the place. Open the limbo up in the highway to see what she can do!!!! Please!!!
I understand that Indiana was the worst team last year but it’s apparent the other teams will step up their games against her knowing that Clark help to adjust the spot light on the WNBA league. Indiana’s defense is terrible.

Caitlin is going to need some help if the Fever are going to have a chance this season. Caitlin cannot do it herself. Caitlin did have 10 turnovers and I am going to chock that up to nerves in her 1st WNBA game. Caitlin Clark needs to be the focal point of the Fever's offense if the ever hope to win. The other players on the team need to accept a supporting role, or the Fever will not succeed. Lasts nights game turned into a CC vs Connecticut. The rest of the Fever disappeared when CC starting getting hot. CC ended up with 20pts. CC is going to get hers and the rest of the team need to be ready when she is on the floor. CC, cut down on the TO's.
