  1. Not iddey. Just a face thing… šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£ More seriousely, his play under the rim is resumed by "black to the rim" work.

At 4 Mamou over the draft, don't forget siddy

Draft 4&8 for the bench sucks
Btw Minnesota 2 bigs will not Beat Denver

  2. My view is that this increases the chances of getting Zach at the 4th pick. Now this does make the 8th pick more interesting. You could draft one of these guys if one slips to 8th because your second unit needs help and either one of these guys could be an upgrade. This way you could end up with 2 players who could help immediately. The other option at 8 could be Topich (spelling). His injury is reported to be minor, but it is the second injury to the same knee and he might be available at 8. Regardless, the rising stock for Clingham and Edey expands SAā€™s options for both picks.

  3. No on both bigs… I have 4 guys I hope the Spurs can get any 2 of these 4 guys. But Castle, Dilly, Matas and the French shooter. But the front office needs to hit on one of these picks for Wembys sake.

  4. Everyone in the comment saying Edey is a late 1st rd guy – letā€™s all keep in mind that he was 1 game away from basically being a top 5 most accomplished collegiate player of all time. I predict his draft stock will rise to 7-15 range the closer we get to the draft.

  5. Nobodyā€™s talking about the fact that we can still get the number 1 pick. We have ATL future, you cant tell me you wouldnā€™t want to trade that pick (#1) to their future back. Regardless weā€™re in a good position for the future. šŸ˜Ž

  6. Maybe we can trade KJ to the wizards for there 3 pick and get both of the 6ā€10 wings Matas and Risacher

  7. …hell no…with the 4th pick Spurs should take…risacher topic dillingham Ron Holland or Cody Williams…I think the rockets might take a big…wizards might take topic…and risacher will fall to the Spurs…5.buzelis 6.ron holland.7.cody Williams.8.rob dillingham to the Spurs…

  8. Zach edey is basically Drew Eubanks if you ask me. Very solid, but not someone that's gonna change the trajectory of your franchise.

  9. Glad you threw this out there. We really struggled with rim protection when VW was off the court. Bassey is injury prone. Collins isn't a good center. Barlow tried. Mamu got eaten alive at center that night Collins and Barlow got hurt. Spurs lacked depth at the center spot. Having a strong center gives the roster A LOT of options. Running VW and a strong center allows VW to roam on defense like OKC and Minnesota have shown is a decent recipe for success. We've basically used our PFs for centers this year and that absolutely did not work. Everyone is focused on PG and SF, but I'm with you, I think there is room for a strategy with the picks and trades that isn't just lobs to Wemby, but anchors options in the front court.

  10. I don't see anyone in this draft starting for the Spurs right out of the gate. Julian and Tre are too good to be replaced by rookies, because both of those guys are going to spread the floor much better than last season. Hopefully Jeremy does too. Our second team is another matter. Replace Zak and Cedi, maybe, with guys with high upside who might eventually start. Real 3&D guys. Either Clingan or Edey might fit the bill at 5. However, I would take Risacher at 4 if he falls, and Topic at 8 if he is still available there. Both would be projects, and a risky one in Topic's case, but the potential ceiling is way up there. Meanwhile, develop Blake, Mamu, Malaki, maybe Bassey for another year. We aren't going to contend next year, but we might in a couple of years if the guys develop the skills to match the current chemistry.

  11. I would like to draft a back up big, if I had to choose between the two, Iā€™m going Clingan. He is way more versatile, and we need a good two-way player. I think Zach will be a decent back up, but he is slow footed and is not nearly as versatile

  12. The star i want is strange but I think Zion Williamson would fit perfectly in San Antonio with Wemby. Kinda opposite body types. Hes only 23 so in our window.
