Luka had arguably his best game of his post season. Triple double at 31/10/11, shooting 12/22 field and the field and 5/11 from three. Efficient as fuck.

  2. TheAerial

Dallas’ defense those final 5 minutes or so was fantastic.

Excellent close outs, rotations & communication, stifling 3 plays I was sure was gonna result in an open look but they just covered each other so well. All capped off with a big Luka block on Shai in transition just under the 1 minute mark.

can’t lose twice in three home games as the #1 seed. can’t miss wide-open looks all game as the most efficient three-point shooting team in the league. you just can’t.

sigh, now OKC must win two in a row against a team that has not lost two consecutive games since the beginning of March to save their season.

  4. Whole team can’t shoot while SGA is singlehandidly trying to drag this team to a win?

This is definitely like watching old OKC again

    Luka is insane though

  5. rishabh2996

Coach of the year deploying the hack-a-Lively gimmick defense and he sinks every FT…simply hilarious to watch 🤣

  6. Genuine question, why does Luka jumps on every Lu Dort Pump fake like he’s prime Reggie Miller. Legit the one time he didn’t (late in 4th quarter) Dort had an air ball.
Comparatively PJ, in same situation doesn’t bite on those kinda pump fakes cause he knows Dort unlikely to make one over him.

Also that Luka block on Shai in last minute might the lowest I’ve ever seen a defender jump to block off the board 😂😂

Lively is cold af in clutch FTs situation lol.

With the way last game’s 4th quarter went, Mavs fans had to breathe a huge sigh of relief at the sequence starting with the hack-a-Lively.

Instead of a free possession, Lively makes both, then DJJ comes up with a crazy athletic block on what looked like a wide open 3 for Chet, which falls to Luka -> DJJ for the high flying dunk.

Could spin that as a 7 point swing.

  8. schwinndoctor

serious luka is a problem 31/10/11 and a cruicial block on sga

  9. Palifaith

My god OKC’s offense is really shit outside of Shai. Pump fake > drive > kick out > brick open three > repeat.

  10. MaximumestBob

now that okc lost this game, shai was a fraud the whole time

if okc wins next game, luka was the fraud all along

    am i doing this right

  11. FootballRacing38

Mavs fans, just don’t bother watching games 1 and 4 from now on

  12. texas2089

This was exactly the response we needed tonight. If we had hit our FTs this would be the end of the series but still need one more so can’t afford to rest. Come out with this same intensity next game and finish this up at home. Let’s go Mavs!!!!

  13. K1ngCrimsn

If only these mfs could’ve hit 2 more fts the other night

  14. Liamesque

Luka stopped playing Overwatch and started playing Farming Simulator. No more toxicity : )

  15. 30dayspast

That’s just a good win is what that is. A narrative-changing win (until Game 6 and then it’ll change again).

  16. CloneWarsMaul

PAY THAT MAN DJJ! What a great fit for this Dallas team he has been

  17. ImTheBestNerd

Still can’t believe OKC’s biggest move at the deadline was helping the Mavs gets Gafford

  18. Instantcoffees

I would be sweating bullets as a Mavs fan. I thought for sure the comeback was in the works halfway through the 4th.

  19. IAmAFopMan

Role players have been incredible in this series. DJJ was on fire on both ends.

  20. Couragesand

It’s so interesting at how Kyrie is playing

  21. i_like_thingstoo

Even tho he didn’t have a huge night, PJ Washington again was the reason Dallas won this game. He’s been a certified thunder killer the whole series

  22. Headlesshorsman02

GG mavs. Y’all outplayed us start to finish. Luka was just straight up unguardable tonight

  23. Tatertaint

Listen man Jalen Williams is a nice player but there were people on this sub and on Twitter putting him in top 25 player talks…

  24. UnPhayzable

Luka chatting it up with refs while being a stone cold killer I love it

  25. POKEMONMAN1123456789

Good on Kidd for playing hardy. Did not expect good minutes from him.

  26. DaTingGoesSkrrrrrt

Whatever they injected Luka with tonight is the real MVP

  27. IdRatherBeShilling

I could be wrong but in my observation, the Thunder have always been fighting up hill for most of the game. The Mavs have a 5+ pt lead for most of the game. Game 4 seemed like an anomaly. The Mavs failed to close while SGA closed like a mfer.

Long rest for Luka before game 6. Home game for the Mavs. Looks like this might be over on Saturday or whenever that game 6 will be.

  28. NotAOneUpper

DJJ will not show up as the best of the game on the box score, but he was the biggest difference today. You’d know if you watched the game.
