If the coaching staff is using Asuar the wrong way…which they were… Then it's probably safe to say that he used Ivey the wrong way as well… Which they were… It's only fair to say that
Name a perimeter player that can’t shoot. Ausar can’t shoot. Thats worse than a bad shooter because the defender will give him the jumper. If he can’t shoot he will end up just like Hami Diallo. There is no debate on this. Totally wrong on this. Again he is not just a bad shooter, he cannot shoot, there is a difference.
So why are we blaming Ivey for shooting? Ivey was already here… I like Ausar but why add a non shooter to Cade and Ivey.. now yall blaming Ivey for the shooting problem… but not blaming Ausar.

Kobe said he vetoed the trade bc he didn’t want Richard Hamilton in the deal. That’s why he said no. He said that’s the only way he would waive his ntc.

I think we should take a break from heliocentric Cade anyways, and not only Ausar (and eveybody else) would benefit from that, but he could help keeping the ball movin' as well
Asuar need to work on handle's shot and get a post game he can come off bench playing 1-4 and 3 be lead ball defender occasionally and help side rim protector occasionally and wing defender occasionally he can get 30 minutes off bench with another shooter at 5 so he can play dunker spot or high pnr ball handler I'll make him a pnr god as ball handler and screener with him and Ivey to hide they shooting woes
I think ausar would florish on a good teams like kings warriors thunder mavs man ausar having the derrick jones role on mavs would be crazy pistons gone destroy his career though look at cade ivey
I actually think Ausar showed that he will be able to consistently hit corner 3s at some point, but that may be the extent of his 3 point shooting potential

Memories 😢… I miss that team. That Kobe situation was so odd. The man said he'd rather play on Pluto than LA 😂. Woj was right about all of it. He just was a little passive about Kobe veto on the trade. He had no desire to play in Detroit. He wanted to get traded to the Bulls. I remember when Lakers played the Bulls in Chicago and the whole arena chanted "we want Kobe" pissing the players off. The Bulls deal was similar. He didn't want certain players in the deal like loul deng and gordon if i remember right. Detroit was a no go for him. Everybody but Kobe agreed to it 😂
Been saying this about Ausar for a while. He finished his rookie year shooting over 48% from the field, even though he was mismanaged. If that handle gets tighter, look out.
