  1. If im the Jazz, I'd definitely look into trading up but not entirely throwing in the kitchen sink type offer to do it. Plus, id be out on Bridges because of the DV stuff because it would almost certainly spill outside of the court and be a huge distraction for the team and alienate a lot of the fan base.

Who are some guys that could do so well at the Combine and when team workouts happen that they could move up to 10 like a Devin Carter?

  2. I like Ron Holland better than Castle and he may be there at 10. I also like Knecht and Buzelis then Dillingham and Sheppard as guards and wings. Hopefully Clingan goes in the top 9 to help our selection. It is too costly to trade up to top 5 where Castle could go.

  3. Trent vs bridges ' in my opinion it's bridges hands down if he will keep his hands down 😂 much more explosive on the offensive end defense us a push but miles is younger and I think Hardy can get the most out of him go jazz

  4. We had Al Jefferson that had a dui before he came to Utah and he didn’t have any off the court issues so Miles Bridges may be worth the risk. He will want a big paycheck but Patrick Williams could be worth a look and PJ Washington.

  5. With weak and fragile Donovan Mitchell sitting out last night's game, Mike Conley missing his games…Gobert getting humiliated by Jokic. These three are pussies compared to Stockton and Malone. The point is that Jazz management might have been right not because of assets that they got, but because those three players are not strong enough to ever carry a team to the promised land of the Finals.

  6. I’d mostly say no to bridges. There is one case where I’d give him a shot. He is already serving probation, but if he agreed to: counseling, at least 1 year of anger management and the Jazz were willing to not just work with him on basketball but being a good citizen and person I might consider it. But Bridges would have to sign in to all of that and if not have a forfeit of salary clause.

  7. With Topic getting hurt again, he might just slide down to Utah. Bring him along very slowly and you might get a top 5 talent at 10.

Jazz didn't want Whitmore because of some comparatively minor stuff, so I doubt Bridges is even on their radar. This is smoke season, so it's hard to believe anything.

  8. Knecht doesn't model as "another rookie" who'd have to take a year in G-league and another on the bench (Locke maintains it takes them 3 years to be productive NBA players). He's physically ready and as for his game…didn't somebody say we needed shooters?? Dude's a shooter, and not JUST a shooter. He'll rebound and can hold his own on defense, if not be a real stopper. I saw him mocked (new one from the combine) at #5 just today. How much value do we want to give up for the difference between him and Castle?
