  1. Something lost in the realm of adult fanship is through the eyes of a child and their hometown dreams. That which truly matters and where it began for us.
No child counting down to ten and shooting will ever understand purposely missing or losing on purpose.

  2. Can you or anyone compare this blazers tanking to a team that has taken a similar path, in a similar market without getting a 1st overall pick that became relevant/won a championship?

  3. I’m glad you mentioned Yves Missi. I was high on him even before I realized how recently he started playing basketball. I would be ecstatic if the Blazers take him at 14. Also generally agree with the full list with the exception of Tyler Smith… I don’t really see it with him

  4. I feel Sam is gonna be looking for more scoring punch this off season. He’s gonna make Giddey available and Dort can be had for Jerami Grant which presti likes and possibly a draft pick to take on his contact is that something we go ahead and do? Both have incredible basketball knowledge that fits Portlands time line and have playoff experience. Do we go that route?

  5. They need to trade up. They have desirable pieces that teams would want to swap picks for.
I heard this draft is like another year starting the first pick at the 8th pick.. that means the 14th is gonna be like the 22nd..

  6. Edey is the way to go at 14. We are going to take a gamble at 14 so.. why not a 7'4" Giant that scores and rebounds. I remember the days when Portland fans said No to Durant. "He's too skinny for the nba" he only scores and rebounds in college. It won't translate to NBA.

  7. I believe Zach Edey will go early in the second round, I like Tristan Da Silva who can possibly be there at 14, what are your thoughts on him if he's there at 14

  8. If Portland is drafting for need they should pick the best forward available with 7 and 14, 34 & 40 should just be best player available
I think this draft is full of players who can help their team get better, but I don't think there's a franchisee changer.
With all their picks Portland should take BPA regardless of position while avoiding redundancy in their picks. I think Shadon Sharpe has real potential to be the best player in the NBA, and is the player on the team who I would build around. However, he hasn't done enough to this point. He hasn't done enough to be irreplaceable

  9. Tanking is at best an unreliable strategy with little or no control over a landing spot. Their new strategy should be a full commitment to the rebuild. Trade Simons, Grant and Brogdan on or before the ‘24 draft. Collect valuable picks and/or young talent. Rehab Williams and trade at the deadline next season. Hold onto Ayton for another season and properly feature his talent and plan to trade him on or before the ‘25 draft. The plan for attaining the number one ‘25 pick should be a trade up strategy if lottery luck doesn’t do it. Tank and Pray is just stupid.

  10. I would 100% throw Da Silva in this group! He is a 3 level scorer, 6'8"+, and good help defense (not amazing on ball though). Really looks solid on the floor

  11. My thing with the chicago pick is you can get it back for super cheap along with dumping a bad contract or two to chicago while they still desperately wanna be relevant instead of blowing it up. It gives us leverage instead of later where they have the leverage to fleece us for as much as possible cause we wanna pick swap from a 20s pick to a top 10.
