Again with the horrible, awful shooting. Diffense was slopy from time to time and Min punished every mistake. On D they just doubled Jok and let everyone else take shots. First quarter stretch killed us. After that nerves were gone. Murray is bothered with leg strain but he wants to shoot himself from slump. couple of days rest is going to help him. Would be nice if we could finished this series in 6. Ah well on to game 7. It is going to be anybodies for taking. bring your AAA game Nuggies. Hard to be upbeat about things. 2 games like this in one series might be the sign of a greater problem. Lack of hustle and effort top to bottom is really concerning.
I think MPJ is mentally not there right now. Maybe family stress finally caught up to him . Whatever it is, he doesn’t earn the start in game 7.
I don’t know why jokic was so passive, and why they were so afraid go in the paint even for rebounds as a whole. Jamal needs to figure it out sooner that his jumper ain’t working some nights, and he needs to contribute in other ways.
In the last 5 years we’ve seen this team be huge underdogs and come back from 3-1 down, to being huge front runners last year, and now we see them struggling to maintain success. It sure has been an adventure.
Next season Jamal is on a contract year and is going to make about 36 million, Luka for comparison will make about 40 million. If Jamal has similar production next year, how much would you think is a fair contract to resign him?
