5 Factors That Could Impact Who The Toronto Raptors Draft!
I will be going through a list of factors that could determine the which type of players and who the Toronto Raptors will draft. After losing their top 6 protected pick to the Spurs (the 8th Pick) The Toronto Raptors will have two picks in the NBA draft this year at the 19th pick and the 31st pick. I go through a list of different things which could tell us who they will decide to draft.

@thewaraichreport great to see you posting and condolences to you and your family. My sense is that the Raps will target an existing young NBA talent from a team tight to the cap to fit with BBQ and make a pick in the top 12 who can play some bench minutes . Raps have cap space, expiring contracts and picks to make this happen.
I miss the rational, balanced perspective that the WARAICH REPORT provides..
Trade Poetle to New Orleans for Herb Jones and salary filler. Draft Edey with 19th pick and hopwfully Ryan Kolak with 31st. Resign JV as a free agent.
Masai probably not trading up. That man probably has his eyes on some foreign player nobody is talking about and might take Ulrich Chomche at 19 with another Bruno like swing.

With the 19th pick the raptors select Bronny James he would bring the hype and fit to the new culture .It would be like the Vince Carter days
the first pick this years draft would be the 9th pick for next years draft 2025 so why miss out on Bronny James
Theory makes sense, last year Raptors signed Joe W and ended up picking Gradey Dick so was a similar type player. Based on the 10 day signings, Raptors targeting Centre and point guard who can play D.
Raptors not trading up.. that's more guaranteed money.. The later the Pick The cheaper they will be. Raps will trade a player or Players on the roster for picks later first round or second round
Hey Waraich! we have to draft size. yes three point shooting too… but JFL will be the new hope lol. He's my guy. But we need size, as you point out. And if we draw a McDaniels type I am gonna be pissed!
Memphis Gets: Jakob + 31st 2024 Pick (or even 19th)
Toronto Gets: Luke Kennard, Jake LaRavia, + 9th 2024 Pick (both on team options)
