  1. We’re gonna have a lot of upset people going into next season

We were going to run it back regardless, the minute Rozier went out with his random injury and Jimmy went down, it was pretty obvious we weren’t going to make any moves and our front office would rely on ‘internal development’ and ‘health’. Surely we can get over the hump the 6th time with this core!

  3. Riley made it pretty clear their main focus was on getting healthy. Heat fans just love setting themselves up for disappointment

I’m in the “they will run it back camp” but also, stuff like this means little this early I think.

Recent example is Siakam, everyone said he would stay and get the extension from TOR, deadline comes around and they move him. Things change quick in the league.

  5. The only move I see coming is Herro being moved. People can debate on whether or not he is a good player. I personally think he can be a great player in the right role. The problem is the salary cap. We need to shed salary to stay under the second apron, and I see him being the odd man out. I doubt we make any other major moves.

Fool me once, shame on you!

Fool me twice, shame on me.

Fool me thrice, you’re a Heat fan!

Mitchell only played 55 games and finished the playoffs on the bench, injured, while his team lost.

Small hyper athletic dudes windows shut overnight as injuries pile up and athleticism fades. See Bradley Beal, John Wall, Isiah Thomas, Kemba Walker, etc.

Is that what Heat fans want? Our small team needs to get smaller???!!! 😂

It’s going to get worse before it gets better.

  9. He’s not extending, he’s not staying in cleveland past his contract.

The league has made it impossible to sign a superstar in free agency. Either the Cavs get a haul of assets or Mitchell extends and asks for a trade in 2 more years. He can’t become a free agent cause he loses money. It’s all so fucking stupid

I want to preface this by saying I want Donovan Mitchell on the Heat as much as anybody. But it is incredibly pointless and stupid to even entertain this trade rumor *this frequently* on this sub, when 1. Donovan hasn’t even requested a trade or voiced his frustration in CLE and 2. there are many other teams that could outbid our assets even if he requested a trade.

I know everyone is tired of running this team back, and so am I. But I’m not gonna spend my summer like last year F5ing everyday hoping Dame is here, and I recommend yall do the same.

Donovan needs to get to South Beach and rest his body in the warm Atlantic Ocean it worked for LeBron.

Cleveland point guard number 10 is trash 🗑

Wait, so my trade of Bam, Herro, Jaquez, Jovic, 3 first round picks, and 3 pick swaps wouldn’t get him here???

That statement is giving PSG and Kylian Mbappe to me tbh. But I remember at the end of the 2022-2023 season, PSG were pretty hopeful they could keep Mbappe too…until they couldn’t and then it got messy prior to the start of the 23-24 season. Then, later on, it became apparent that Mbappe was going to leave because he wanted to win UCL trophies but knew it was slim chances to win at PSG. But as much as everyone knew he wanted to leave his commitment to PSG and his teammates didn’t waver this year and took them this year to a UCL semi-finals, which is huge…but he’s still leaving lol.

    Can we just draft Bronny.

Is our only chance at getting any talent, since he comes attached to LBJ. It would be the best use of our 2nd round draft pick.

Jimmy Bam Mitchell would def be something
