  1. Please no man we do not need a wildly undersized guard who offers similar to what dlo does at like 2x the price.

  2. WestVirginiaFan15

I’d rather bring DLo back than trade assets for a marginal, more expensive upgrade. Hard pass

  3. chiangchilla

Does he still have house or is this it? He’s still pretty young..

  4. Smooth_97

of course, everyone’s landing spot is our team

  5. davepoolX

The good ol’ use the Lakers for leverage wink wink Klutcg

This would truly be a team killing trade. We wouldnt win in the short term and we’d be investing heavily in Garland for a ton of money. This trade would be a DISASTER. Anybody interested in it please explain any logic for me.

  7. Hulk_Crowgan

I like the option ifff we couldn’t keep dlo

  8. Top-boy-og

Dude is basically DLo at double the price, hell no

  9. KWash0222

Never been a fan of Garland’s game tbh. Undersized guard who’s jumpshot needs to be hot in order for him to be effective. Not great at penetrating the paint and not a great defender

Trading for Garland is a tanking move; better have some picks in it for us.

  11. YouKilledKenny12

I’ll make one case for trading for Garland. We need a primary ball handler who is good at getting downhill and putting pressure on defenses. Neither DLo or Reaves can do that. Garland can.

  12. Tall_Succotash

Remember laker fans: they use us for leverage

We have never even mentioned garland in trades until this today…this is BS LOL.

  13. Any_Wrongdoer_9796

He drives to the rim 17 times per game Reaves is at 8 and Dlo is at 7. Garland is exactly the type of guard that you want to pair with AD.

  14. Pikminious_Thrious

If he has another bad year, his contract turns into the new age Tobias Harris deal.

  15. Immediate_Candidate5

Relax guys, when was the last time lakers was not involved in a trade rumor?

  16. HughGRextion

he’s way better than d’lo, if we were rebuilding i’d absolutely take him, he and spida just don’t seem to fit together. i live in ohio and i watch every cavs game, bro is special, i can see why some wouldn’t be sold on him tho

  17. Garland is exactly what this team needs. A ball handler.

That being said he won’t be a laker. He will be feeding Wembanyama

If the Lakers are even thinking about this the entire front office should be fired. This guy is DLO but two inches shorter. Team needs lengthy defenders on the edge or a deadly scorer from all levels. No more of these small guards that get hunted on defense and then go cold on offense. Go after D Murray or Caruso please. If their offense drops, they can still make impactful plays on the defensive end. Or get a knock down 3 point shooter. Seems like there’s no one on the team that I’m 100% sure they’ll make the shot if left open. Nuggets have 4 guys in the starting lineup that if left open you automatically think it’s going in. Damn the front office screwed that off season up by getting rid of KCP, Caruso, and Kuz. 3 really good role players that know their roles.

  19. CabbageStockExchange

Pass. Might as well just keep Dlo then

  20. BiiLLiiONx

Are we going to get a solid Big or what. We never fix the real issues. Always guards guards and more guards.

  21. juicewar01

    Aw hell naw!

Only current cavs we want is Allen and Mitchell. Not an undersized more athletic smaller version of Dlo. Hard pass

  22. Garland is good, he’s way better than he’s been with Mitchell, I’d like him if we could get JA off them as well for sure.
