  1. Garland needs to be able to run an offense. Dude is still a star, but he has struggled next to Mitchell. Mikhal Bridges or Brandon Ingram would both be fine gets in exchange for Garland if he has to go.

Allen should not even be considered for a trade. Mobley is NOT a full time 5. Mobley has spent the whole year focusing on outside shooting, ball handing, and his face up game. He is a tall power forward who CAN play center.

Never NEVER believe rumors about internal strife that suddenly pop up AFTER a season. Its always BS. Always.

JB is a good coach. If a guy like Ty Lou becomes available, then go for it, but Stotts and Bud are lateral changes AT BEST.

  2. Some of the reports may have an ounce of truth – but likely blown out of proportion – if any group or family have people watching them all the time – you could find little arguments or disagreements and make them sound dysfunctional

  3. I just want to let this off-season run its course without the sensationalist headlines and all that. But of course we won’t get that 😂

  4. If Garland wants his own team, let him go. I believe we can get far more than he was giving us in return for his contract… Stop fighting it, let him go!

  5. DG shot 4-17 delivering a disappointing 11 points, and couldn't get passed a 38 year old 6'10 center in his 17th season in a close out game. I'll take my chances with whomever else Koby can get to replace that…

  6. There’s no need to fire a coach we just need to go all in and stop making weak moves we have the proper foundation this year coulda been so much better with just a little aggression even a Kyle Lowry pick up would have changed things Christin wood was available coulda been a great piece I seen so many players that could have fit with us and would have gotten plenty playing time and we coulda been unstoppable stop wasting years

  7. Koby is a genius. He gave Garland a $40m contract annually that Cavs fans know he didn't deserve (this season). HOWEVER, now that Cavs may need to trade him, imagine how much value we can get in return. Top tier strategy to get a boatload of assets for a currently slumping player…

  8. There is absolutely no way the cavs can allow Mitchell to go into next season without signing an extension. That is not a possibility and it can't happen, period. He either signs the extension this offseason, or he must be traded. He's either all in or he's out, simple as that. If he doesn't wanna commit to the cavs beyond next season then they have to maximize his value via trade.

  9. I think the best advice I’ve gotten is from Brian Windhorst

“No one knows except Donovan Mitchell”… they’re reports left and right about him staying or going

I think the best thing we can do is just wait and have a plan A and plan B. We are clearly at a crossroads with the core 4 and this offseason we will say good bye to atleast 1 if not 2 of them

I love everything all 4 have given to this team and they are all really good players they just don’t fit together and that’s fine.

The biggest thing I know at this point is anyone acting like it’s a sure thing one way or the other is not reputable… sometimes in life you just have to wait and see. The only thing I am positive about is we will find out the day he is eligible for an extension.

If he signs it he will be here if he doesn’t he will get traded end of story. Until then just relax and enjoy your life!

  10. They are forced to trade DG now coming off his worst season, as long as the Mitchell decision dictates the outcomes. The only selling point to excuse away DG's poor play is injuries and previous success without DOnovan.. DG only gets them value back on the basis it is a bad fit. If they come back healthy and it still does not work, even under a new coach. DG gets you even less if you can trade his contract at all. What happens if DG continues to play bad next season? Then you have to trade Mitchell to find someone to play with DG. Mitchell would only have a couple landing spots with good odds to get him to stay wherever he is traded. They will have gave up all that value for a rental that couldn't win more than 6 playoff games for them
I think they kind of have to start over with a new GM and less JB
Then there is the front court

  11. The size of the backcourt alone won’t get them any further than where they are now. I like them both as players but they won’t win it all with smaller guards who play OK defense (Mitchell) and poor defense (Garland). They need to keep Allen because the defense that he provides. Personally I wouldn’t mind them trading Mitchell for a good player and multiple firsts. I’m just not sold on him being a 50 per player with him being 6’2” relying on athleticism with bad legs and being 28 in a few months.

  12. I'm intrigued with the possibility of Lauri Markkanen returning…..you're spot on about Donovan @ PG
Garland is expendable but you won't get equal trade value

  13. Ohhh.. you always fall in love with Cavs players then you don’t want to admit that they are not good at all.. like now DGarland. You already suffering bks he have to go somewhere else with his dribble, dribble, dribble and turnovers.. Lol lol 😂🤣!

  14. You don’t want to admit that they are not good at all.. like now DGarland and others in the team. You already suffering bks he have to go somewhere else with his dribble, dribble, dribble and turnovers.. Lol lol 😂🤣!

  15. garland is a 24 year old all star that never felt like himself after the jaw injury. giving up on him now will result in the cavs kicking themselves as he goes on to become an all time great shooter and playmaker. he had his best season next to donovan mitchell. donovan mitchell had his best season next to dg. the fit wasnt the issue this year. when dg is 26,27,28 and dominating, no one will care about this one year where he never fully felt comfortable. i’ve seen this too many times to give up on a player. kyrie, steph, de’aaron fox, jamal murray. so many rumours about their teams moving on or their potential being wasted. just for them to be on top of the world again a year or two later.

  16. I get DG had issues but that’s part of the problem. He can’t stay healthy. As I mentioned on X prior to the playoffs, DG should have just shut it down for the season because playing it out didn’t help his stock.

  17. We could be in worse places than having Donovan Mitchell for another year if we want him and a feeling that if we stayed healthy, we could at least feasibly get to the finals. Max as our two guard makes more sense than seeing DG get bull dozed in the physical playoffs. Kuzma would be a nice return IMO
