Led by Jalen Brunson’s 44 points and seven assists, the Knicks defeated the Pacers in Game 5, 121-91. Josh Hart (18 points, 11 rebounds), Alec Burks (18 points, five 3PT FG) and Isaiah Hartenstein (7 points, 17 rebounds) added 43 points in the victory, while Pascal Siakam tallied 22 points and eight rebounds for the Pacers in the losing effort. The Knicks lead the best-of-seven series, 3-2, with Game 6 taking place Friday, May 17.

Brunson exceptional and gets his points. Obvious. Hart also obvious. But letting the others get their easy points is same bad D as what Pacers have been with Donte until Game 4.

In my entire life I've never been in such disbelief like after seeing that result. How is that possible? The Pacers are the better team and the handicapped Knicks win with 30 points difference after a ridiculous game 4 where the Pacers dominated in every way. WTF – There are certain things I dont understand. Myles Turner who is probably one of the Top 3 most important Pacers players, he has the height and wingspan of Dwight Howard. And Turner got 5 rebounds. I mean, he's probably the tallest player with the biggest wingspan and Brunson who is a midget compared to him has the same number of rebounds. How is that possible in such an important game? Dwight Howard was capable of getting 20 rebounds in a game. I know its stupid to compare with him but I just wonder being that tall should be a gigantic advantage for rebounds. Maybe its fatigue. Myles Turner was an important factor why they even got there so I wonder why they went to New York just to play that bad after a game where they dominated totally. Thats absolutely ridiculous. I mean I understand how difficult it is there in the Madison square garden. But why the fuk where they outrebounded 53-29. Guys like O Toppin or Siakam or Myles Turner should still get a lot of rebounds. I would really have given them the chance to even beat Boston, they played well the entire season, often also on the road where they beat many good teams. It simply doesnt make any sense that they would play that bad in game 5 against a totally handicapped New York team. WTF….Nevertheless the Pacers will win in 7. I know that they are much better than the Knicks. Maybe they just did it to make the series even more entertaining. The Pacers are one of the best teams in the league. They must win this series. But I have to admit Brunson is the most badass and best player on the court. The Pacers are the better team but Brunson is the best player. He should be the MVP not Jokic.
