inbounds to uran out of three down of two y not over to hit and it’s all over the Indiana Pacers have their defeated the New York Knicks 97- 95 to take the series in seven and they advaned to the eastn conference final to face the Orlando Magic Patrick Hing had the shot but it went in and out and now many questions concerning the New York Knicks and this man Pat Riley in his fourth season as head coach is this the end of the year certainly Pat ry’s future continues to be a question as the Knicks are beaten by the Pacers as we take another look at the inbounds pass well no problem getting the ball to Patrick Ying who just flashed and he spins out of the double team it looked like with a little extension here he could have taken the thing right to the rim but he just tried to avoid the defense and Flip It Up

  1. "That shot put the lid on the basket for all of our careers moving forward."

This was what Charles Smith said about Ewing's layup in the dying minutes. Now, this is the same Charles Smith that was blocked 4 times in the same play by the Bulls in game 5 of the 1993 Eastern Conference Finals, but he wasn't exactly wrong when he said it.

New York basketball has never really recovered from this game. Sure they reached the Finals in '99, but honestly that felt like a blip. It's like the heart and soul of the city died with this Ewing miss.
