going to come in tomorrow uh super locked in um guys are excited there’s a looseness to you know the way we came you know approach today with um you know just knowing that tomorrow’s going to come down to whoever wants it the most uh who wants it whoever you know shows that most the most hunger the fight the the greediness to make the the extra efforts to win and um that’s stuff we can we can control and so that’s exciting so we’re excited excited to get after how uh how much have you played four years done on your head for the last 48 hours um the last 4 years not the last 48 hours man i’ I’ve replayed it a lot um having that opportunity to to win a game seven like that and not not being able to make the shot was tough and uh now here we are in a similar situation where we get to play that same team a lot of the same guys uh so for me it’s been something been thinking about a long time hopefully you know this will turn out different when you say over the last four years I guys will have kind of different I guess relationships with a moment like that if it if it doesn’t go their way have you is that something that you watched back before and used his motivation or or something that just kind of is in escapable on your mind uh you know it’s it’s hard to escape it you you find that clip every now and then you know sometimes it comes across the phone um I don’t actively search it uh I don’t want to bring up that memory too much but um the same time though it’s it’s something that you know I thought about in workouts you I think about when I’m having a tough day in the work in a workout missing a certain shot I’m like man I got to I got to make this cuz I might be in this situation again I might have that opportunity again so um really locked in on that how you feeling uh better than I did two days ago uh for sure you know I’m just going to keep relying on the guys keep relying on the team to uh you know keep carrying me the way they have been and um and do what I can out there for the for the guys and and leave it all out there what was like for you to watch cat do so many things well in games uh it’s exciting you know when when cat plays the way he did and it wasn’t just you know his his scoring and stuff like that it was his uh ability to make reads and on you know on time passes and things that um I think he’s been fighting a little bit throughout his career and um it came you know all to a big moment there in game six where it’s like hey we we’re going to play through you and you’re going to have to be the guy that makes makes the right correct decisions and he did that play after play um and then just on the other end defensively he does a great job of of of making making guys work and um and within our scheme so you know he just proud of his development and hopefully um he brings that same energy to game seven what’s different about playing in a game seven as opposed another playoff game whether it be like energy that is on the floor what do you tell the guys about that experience for someone that maybe have this situation I I equated it to like a March Madness type game guys are played in the tournament uh winner go home like you there’s no time to you know go home and watch film make adjustments at home you got to do it right there on the spot um anything needs to be said you say it everything you know don’t leave any anything to regret um give everything you got and and and give ourselves the best chance to win cuz we know it’s going to be tough out here in in Denver but um you know we we we’ve won out here before and we’re excited to get out here as this run has extended for your group have you had any individual thoughts of just the scarcity of this moment there might not be that many more of these for you in your career oh for sure I thought about every playoff game as you know potentially this this could be a you know one chance to to to crack down the door and get it you know have a chance to to win a championship and um because opportunities don’t come around like this you don’t have uh it be so wide open like this that often a lot of teams um tend to always be at the top of the top of the league but right now I feel like it’s very much open for a lot of teams to make make a make a run and uh we got to capitalize when we can hear an an after game six say that the difference in game five and game six is simply your presence like what does that make you feel as a teammate oh man uh I got a lot of respect for him man I appreciate that he feels I’m that much you know that needed for the team but I honestly believe it was just uh you know we’re we’re a full team and and collectively we’re all together we’re just so much better you know guys can kind of fill into their roles um a lot easier uh I I play my role everybody else plays their role and and and the cat and Rudy they can do what they do and um but yeah I’m I’m happy that you know we won by 45 and not lost by 45 CU I came back so I’m happy about that thanks Mike than
